This is my theory as well. Dillon will refurb for $230 each. I dont know what all is included in that $230, but I cant see how I can get hurt on this deal. Tracking says they will be here next Tues!

not going to lie, I am a little worried until they show up. (I used paypal so hopefully I have a little protection) Found them on craigslist...... I know, I know...... but the address listed was a business and I googled the address and it popped up a business, so I checked out the business website. So I called, and asked if they had an ad for 2 RL1050, they said sure do. It was an older guy, truly old school. felt comfortable......well as comfortable as possible. If its a scam they built a website, facebook page, etc etc to pull it off. Either I am totally getting over on, or its the deal of the century (IMO)

I been wanting to start reloading for a while. The last few weeks I been doing load development on a friends RCBS turret press. I ran up on what I think/consider to be a heck of a deal. I sent payment this morning for TWO RL1050 for $1350 shipped. considering all I really plan on loading is 223/556 and 9mm I think its going to work out great! Setting up one to process and one to load (need to buy a trimmer/etc) wish me luck! I am really excited to start cranking out the rounds and becoming poor buying components! HA HA !!!

I am shooting at my folks place and the surrounding farm land, so I can go from muzzle to any length I want as far as distance goes. I am really hoping to get the Hndy 75 BTHP to work as I can get it down to 14 cents a bullet and 30 or 31 cents total for high quality "match grade" reloads, which is the same price as bought 55g, which is exciting. the Hndy stuff is the cheapest stuff out there if you buy in bulk, you can probably get the PPU stuff down to the same price too if you shop. but that's the reason I havnt and wont even try the sierra/black hills stuff........ Im scared i'll like it!!! and its the most expenisve LOL

Don I don't really want to shoot 55g, I prefer a "do all" round for simple sake. barrel is 1/7, so im good there got ya! I'm sure was I "get into" I will have 3,4,5, loads, but in the beginning I am trying to be as simple as possible, as my main usage is self defense, SHTF, fun Saturday afternoon of shooting (often) so now I have the question, even though hornady 75g match, 68g match and frontier 75g don't shoot well for me, there is a chance with reloads it could be perfect with the right load workup??? your advice is dully noted!

I am in Arkansas. I can do long range 300+ I want to do a mix of all: some bench queen, some "tactical shooting", some long range 300-600. I really like shooting steel, BUT I want to know when I set down at a bench my gun is the best it can be. Plus, to me, it seems more cost effective to reload a more premium round (75g) than is a 55g round. meaning, I can do it all short and long with a 75g, but I cant do it all with a 55g, its a tradeoff. Does that make sense?

I should add, this is an AR15. 16 inch ballistics advantage Hanson 16 inch barrel.

my reasoning for reloading is I can reload a 75g for the same price I can buy bulk 55g. A much better round for the same money, more "bang for the buck" , Right??? However, I am not trying sierra bullets, I am scared I will like them too much and they are expenisve/ hard to find in big bulk.

so my thinking of take what "factory load" I shoot best and reload that brand bullet to make it "better" is a flawed theory? I am really trying to get away from trying 10 bullets/several different components. Granted I know I am going to have to try a few powders. Though I am trying to narrow down as much as possible from doing my research.

Total scoped rifle novice I want to reload to get the most out of my gun and to shoot more for the same money. My question is how do you select the BRAND of bullet for reloading? I have been trying different factory ammo. I have noticed my gun does not group anything hornady(1.5 moa or worse even with match) Yet with "PPU MATCH" is shoot moa or better So is it reasonable to think I should buy PPU bullets to reload as my gun "likes them better"????

Question: It seems most guys are lubing when processing brass, then tumbling the lube off before loading. Now with the revolution, it is an all in one machine..... so is lubing to process brass unnecessary on the revolution???
