  1. You are correct, the magwell sits below the frame, so you have to push the stock base plate up in there. I use my thumb. It's just nice to not have to remove the magwell if you want to use a stock mag. I am using the arredondo mag extensions, which give +4 in .40, but I don't have them on all my mags.
  2. It is milled out inside, allowing the stock base pads to fit.
  3. I ended up getting a Carver Custom. It is specific for the 2.0 models, and it is aluminum. I like the fact I can still run stock , or aftermarket base plates.

  5. The trigger in my 2.0 is much better than my 1.0.when it was stock. I have the apex competition kit in my 1.0 and I am happy with it. Has anyone tried adding the competition spring kit to a 2.0 and using the stock 2.0 sear and striker block? Just wondering how that might work out.
