  1. Also a fan of the Lee U-die. Fewer rounds not passing case gauge.
  2. Older and I like green, especially if low sun, first stages of the day. I use green fiber in my iron sights and green in my "red" dot. Thank you Holosun
  3. I have used double ended but went back to hollow base because of slightly better accuracy. Never heard of the skirt/barrel bulge problem. Maybe a squib not a bullet problem???
  4. Only if it fails calibration and only poppers are subject to calibration 4.3.1.5. I'm not a M or GM shooter and just enjoy the competition.so happy to shoot a clean stage.
  5. i use 3.4 gr. of VV N-320 , Bear Creek coated 137 RN loaded to 1.095. PF of 129.

    A01 and magwell

That is where mine hit, I used a small needle file to remove some material from the magwell. Made a groove for the plunger that releases the base for cleaning.

    A01 and magwell

Can the magwell or bases be filed to fit? I had an issue with my Henning and a small bit of filing on the magwell easily fixed it.
  8. FYI mainspring has little to do with SA trigger pull as the hammer is already cocked.
  9. I have a Lyman 12# digital scale and my S2O came in at just over 9#, changed to a lighter spring and now it's about 6.5#.
  10. Also scraping the coating when seating the bullets can produce smoke, double check the expansion die setting to make sure. You usually need more than with plated or jacketed.
  11. Answered. https://nroi.org/nroi-tips/nroi-tips-handgun-ready-conditions/
  12. Yes but part of it was just the learning curve using a different system. I had a similar learning curve with the LnL.
  13. I went from a LnL to an X-10 and it's nice....not a game changer. I will say Hornady's CS is heads and shoulders above Frankfort's
  14. Sorry for your problems, they sound MUCH worse than mine. The lack of a comprehensive parts diagram is crippling IMHO. With my Hornady LnL I can give a description from the parts diagram AND the part number, then they know exactly what I need.
  15. Of course not...LOL...if I was that smart I wouldn't have lost it in the first place. I thought about that AFTER I reassembled everything.
  16. Hopefully they will change their attitude and be more like Hornady. I have never had Hornady refuse to send me a part for free, but I gladly would have paid $2 for the part and shipping. At 74 crawling around the floor was not fun, just glad I was able to find it or my new press would have been useless.
  17. I had to dismantle the priming system on my Frankfort X-10 press to remove a mangled primer. The tiny ball which helps index the gear which picks up the primers from the tube and rotates under the brass slipped away from me and last seen bouncing across the garage. OH SH#T! After unsuccessfully looking for it I emailed Frankfort expecting them to send me a new one. BUT NO! First they asked for pictures....of a lost part, then when I offered to pay for the ball I got this response... "We do not have these parts available for purchase. Thank you, Easton DTC Customer Support" Hornady sent me a new e-clip for the priming system in my LnL hours after I sent them an e-mail asking for a new one. Faced with an unusable press I spent a great deal of time searching the garage floor and four days latter I found it That is not customer service in my option. And I can hear the remarks about being able to find my etc,etc....
  18. I would always run a ladder with different bullets even if very similar. IMHO. It's quick, easy and why not. You could then go up the the 4.3 grs. you are considering. One thing to consider when changing bullets is the seating depth, which is not the same as OAL. If the bullets are different lengths then the heel of the bullet of the longer one will be further in the case, which means a smaller combustion area and, probably, higher pressures.

    Holosun 507comp

Mounted mine on existing plate from CZC which is for generic for Holosun, RMR etc. Shooting my first competition today.
  20. Once you get the pre and over travel screws adjusted don't forget the locktite.
  21. I use mine other don't. Try it, see if you like it.
  22. Probably not but OAL does depend on what bullet you are using and there is always some variation from barrel to barrel. My guess is the OR version uses the same barrel as the other A-01's so not long throat-ed.
