  1. all depends on how you train. if you have a quality mount and a quality optic, then go for it. If you train to not use the optic, then thats the way to do it. All muscle memory and training. Have you tested to see if its faster to do it that way?
  2. huge fan of the 365 series... I have an original and an XL... love the different set ups they provide
  3. i have 5-10k of factory ammo on hand all the time, and at least enough supplies to load 25k of 9mm and 10k of 556 pretty much any time. Currently sitting on 3-4 times that amount as I havent shot in quite a while, while being deployed with the military
  4. bullet variation and die setup are critical to consistency. my acceptable tolerance is .005, but I also run my 9mm on the short side for my Tanfo chambers
  5. i feel this in my soul.... paying $60+ if im lucky, is absolutely ridiculous
  6. thats a good one.. haha the best "non quote".... this one is trash "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast"... no, slow is slow, period...
  7. you are right about that... id love to find it for $2500-$3500 an acre for 75-125 acres... thats a tough call though right now
  8. ive been looking everyone in the area, trying to find a decent piece of land, without getting charged crazy money
  9. I tend to shoot better. Allows for the free flow of communication, observe them being better, and how they break things down differently. Also allows immediate feedback from them, if you know them well enough to ask for tips/tricks/advice, after your run.
  10. worst issue has been forgetting tools to tighten mag pouches, and holster brackets. My "gun bag" usually stays pretty packed, ready to go. Grab gun/belt and away we go.
  11. approx 10-15% of the time. Normally work at least one/two full mags of SHO/WHO, normally trying to work doubles, and waiting to see sights on target
  12. always been very difficult to learn, especially with iron sights...
  13. easy, draw for sure.. 0.9 - 1.2, and reloading is in the 1.2-1.4 range
  14. Center for security forces in Chesapeake, VA.. Taught Crew Serve Weapons, Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor instructor (taught the new teachers), and Visit Board Search and Seizure M2 M240 Mk19 Mk48
  15. yes.. spray in the mag bodies, use mag brush, and then wipe clean with a "wet" microfiber, and let air dry completely
  16. Henning will work, but some minor tweaking the Springers should work. I run Springers on my Production stock 2s and love them
  17. thats great info... i absolutely love my redding seating die. makes minor adjustments so much easier
  18. absolutely love Ultimate pistol. zero issues, but it is a little slower then cleanshot, just need to work an appropriate load up for it
  19. Cleanshot and Ultimate Pistol from SW has worked great for me
