The gun started as a armscor 2011 I had built for limited all internals changed and hand tuned but a gun Smith I want to get a feel for open with out the total commitment i.e I can remove parts and still have limited gun that being said I know 9mm and 38 super rule the roost in open but I'm not going on a pro tour in open any time soon (plus free brass for .40 is the biggest factor)

I want to turn my ria 2011 in .40 into an open gun I'm trying to avoid changing cal. But it's hard to find parts ex. Barrels and compensators for .40 any suggestions?
