I just tried this with an empty MBX mag. It seems it holds a little crooked in the frame and does rub the trigger bar. I can get mine to stick as well.

I had not noticed this issue before while shooting.

I tried it again with a dummy round in. Racked slide.. held trigger down.. inserted MBX with dummy round and slowly let the trigger forward. No more sticking. Alleviated the issue in mine.

Are you having issues with live fire? Or just testing after install?

It is a gun I am currently building so no live fire yet. I just tried dummy rounds and it won't even feed without a rerack. Going to try to return to MBX. Magpul works fine.

    A bit out of topic.
When I migrated to Open years ago My Open glock 17 in my profile worked in 9 major after some tweaking. I used gk 17 mags w/ taylor freelance extension to 170mm. Im in ipsc country so my pf was in the 165-170 range. Only the mini red dots wont last to 3k rnds so I used the old cmore sliderides. I had 2 of such pistols then. I shoot them a lot w/ regularity. One problem I foresee in gk Open set up in 9 major is it can fire a bit out of battery. W/ major pf in 9mm I decided not to risk it. If gk has them in .38super I would not change to 2011s.

I heard the Timney trigger reduces fire out of battery (no experience)

Geography limits my firearm options (California). Ownership of a threaded barrel is illegal. This example is welded on so the slide and barrel comp are all one unit.

As well there are no approved 2011 frames on the roster. So the whole process of a straight up race gun is a complicated process that can only be accomplished by

    1) Buying one brought in from a resident who moved to CA with said race gun and decided to sell private party (less magazines)

    2) managed to get a 2011 frame by same private party purchase process and build it up

What this Glock is really designed for is the GSSF Glock matches where all guns are Glocks. Yes, very narrow objective and goal. I started with one thing, then another, and then I just went ALL IN.

I also use it for Steel Challenge which requires no Major PF.

I'm using 800x because I'm on my last 1/2 pound of 3M38 and am not interested in paying $70 a pound to get it to my door. So I looked at the burn charts of what powders I have on hand and I'll be just using the stuff up as I practice and get better.

At best, when I step into the 1911 realm of Open Guns I'll be limited to a 1911 frame, and then have to convert it to 9mm myself (only two 9mm 1911's are on the roster). So it will still only be a 10+1 9mm, but at least all steel. My compensator options will still have to be welded on, but at least I can remove the barrel from the slide, but the bushing will be trapped.

    Is a 9mm 1911 threaded bull barrel a thing?

Here in California, I suppose CZ would be the go to donor platform.

not sure a bull barrel with no threads will shape in the right spot where the slide is. You might be able to make a cone compensator work.

So I received the Pistol (Nice), an  EAA C-More mount (#9102205) and a C-More Slide Ride model ASRS-8.  The holes in the bottom of the C-more are too small to go over the mounting studs that are on the EAA mount and the screws that came with the sight are a size bigger than what the mount came with.  I assumed this was a drop the sight on the mount, tighten two screws and go.  Am I missing something?  Did I order the wrong C-more sight?  Or is the mount wrong?  Thanks in advance and forgive my ignorance.

If you haven't found a solution yet, I used a 15/64 drill bit on the slide ride
