  1. The new TSO (2019 and later) already comes with the mag catch paddle from the factory. I’m surprised you ordered one from Sebo since you won’t be needing it unless the TSO you’re buying is NOS from 2018 and earlier.
  2. I wonder if the output of the DAA plate can be achieved with just the wiring mod and still using the stock Dillon plate?
  3. Yes it is. Before measuring them, I was always wondering why I was getting the coke bottle shape with the Lee but not with the Redding.
  4. I have both the Lee Udie and Redding carbide sizing die. Having measured both, the Redding is about .001”-.002” wider in diameter compared to the Lee Udie. I think this is the main reason the Redding works just as good as the Lee udie without the coke bottle shape.
  5. On my 1100, instead of the Dillon hold down/expander, I installed and had been using an FW Arms Auto-centering swage foot die. It has a heat treated steel rod than holds down the case directly on the primer hole and doesn’t expand or bell the case. The MBF provides the belling of the case prior to bullet seating. https://fwarms.com/shop/reloading/f-w-arms-auto-center-swage-foot/
  6. Nope. I have the same setup on my processing tool head using FW Arms auto primer popper, FW arms swage hold down, Lee U-die without decapping pin.
  7. I had been searching for one to no avail. If you do make some, please pm me. I’d like to have some for practice.
  8. You can buy it from MidwayUSA, brownells etc. Lyman 9mm M die https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1011246697?pid=600695 Or you can also place a WTB ad in the classifieds for a 1050/1100 9mm hold down die. Majority of 1050/1100 owners (including me) get rid of them from their presses and use different hold down die from another manufacturer (I had been using FW Arms hold down die since it holds the bottom of case instead of the case mouth).
  9. Buy both. Keep the one that gives you the wider smile and sell the other .
  10. Very nice setup. Do you mind sharing the measurements or drawings for your rollsizer base? I can weld a little bit and I have the time to make one. Thank you.
  11. Is that the lady who used to be married to a world champion shooter ?
  12. Make sure you lube the cases really well during the decapping and resizing stage. Hornady One Shot or any lanolin-based lube will work. I made my own lien using one part pure lanolin to 12 parts 99% alcohol (HEET in the red bottle). You can buy the pure lanolin from any drugstore or Amazon and HEET from any auto parts store.
  13. They still do. In fact, I called to let them know I had a problem with the primer system and they sent me a replacement part free of charge.
  14. I’m using +2 CZ Custom base pads and springs/followers on my TSO and czechmate mags. I also have grams springs/followers on some of the mags. No problems with the stock magwell. The only difference between TSO and TS/TS2 mags are the base pads. The TSO has the aluminum orange base pads while the TS/TS2 uses the black polymer base pads. Both use the same stock magwell.
  15. I’m also using an FW auto centering primer popper on station 2 and a Lee U-die on station 8 of my 1100.
  16. Use the Rami slide stop. It works with the shadow 2 and thinner than the stock shadow 2 slide stop. I use them on my shadow 2.
  17. Like Guy stated, bottleneck cases have some additional considerations when reloading them. Always make sure there are no crack, splits and lubed well prior to decapping and resizing them. You can also just neck size them as long as you use the brass on the same rifle they were fired from (fire-formed). I process and reload .223 and it was the main reason I bought a Dillon 1100 and sold my 650. The swaging capability is 1000 times better on the 1050/1100 compared tot he 650 and with a honey badger trimmer mounted on my processing tool head, I can process (decap, swaged, full-length sized, trim and expand the case mouths using an M die) in one pass.
  18. Just a little bit. Mine was lender with the stock magwell way before I bought and install the CZ Custom big magwell.
  19. Get the CZ Custom large mag well and their extended base pads. You’ll also need the long grips so there won’t be any gaps between the grips and mag well. Or you can get the CZ Custom IPSC mag well which is a little bit smaller than the large mag well but larger than the stock TSO/Czechmate mag well. Both combo works well with my Czechmate (works with TSO as well since both guns share everything except for minor differences). Here’s a pic of the CZ Custom large mag well and long grips. You can see the difference in size compared to the stock mag well on the other czechmate on the upper left hand side of the picture.
  20. Not sure if the 509T shares the same footprint as the 507C/508T but you can check out Springer Precision’s adapter plate for the OG X5. https://shop.springerprecision.com/p320-x5-burris-docter-adapter-place/
