I have loaded the V2 using 4.0 gr of Sport Pistol at 1.120-1.125” OAL for 128-132 PF on my shadow 2 without any problems.

Add a capful of Lemishine to the dawn soap and you’re good to go. No need to buy those fancy concoctions sold by manufacturers such as Lyman etc.

1050 spewing primers all over
George16 replied to waktasz's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
There’s no primer stop pin like that in the 1050/1100 machines. -
He just wanted to have 50 posts so he can post a WTS ad for his gun .

The TSO rear sight uses a pair of M4 x 6mm long setscrew. You can go to your local Ace hardware and buy some from them.

Two Progressive Presses and one Mr Bullet Feeder
George16 replied to Chapo's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Yeah, that setup worked well for me. Sold the 650 and kept the 550B I bought from the Enos store 10 years ago. It’s setup for large primers to reload .308 and 6.5CM while the 1100 had been upgraded with a MK7 for processing and reloading 9mm and .223. -
223 to 300 BLK RT1500 trim Problems
George16 replied to Broncos79's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
@Sigarmsp226, if I were you, I would deprime and swaged on the 1100 first and then resize and trim on the 650. Doing it this way, the primer pockets get cleaned during the tumbling process and also cut down the drying time. -
Two Progressive Presses and one Mr Bullet Feeder
George16 replied to Chapo's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
No they didn’t. Just make sure the bulletfeeder itself is high enough and the spring not stretch out too much. If the length of the stock output spring is not enough, DAA sells an extension to extend the current length. I recommend buying an extra output spring and adapter just in case the stock spring length is not enough for your setup. I had to buy one (you can see the black plastic part in the middle of the spring) because I cut the original output spring when I had the bulletfeeder mounted on the 650 casefeeder and it wasn’t long enough when I decided to install the bulletfeeder between the two machines after receiving my 1100. https://www.doublealpha.biz/us/mrbulletfeeder-output-spring-and-extension-adaptor -
Two Progressive Presses and one Mr Bullet Feeder
George16 replied to Chapo's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I had that setup before I sold my XL650. I bought a 3/4 pipe and flange to mount the bullet feeder between my 1100 and 650. The bulletfeeder came with enough output spring for use between the two machines. Heres an old picture: -
If you have a soldering iron, use it to break the bond of the loctite.
-
I didn’t install the diodes when I installed the MK7 on my 1100. So far, I have not experienced any problems or issues when using either the bullet or case feeder.
-
I would definitely be interested 8n buying one along with the new guide rod so I can convert my TSO.
-
I see. Yes, you definitely need a 6” barrel then since the stock czechmate and TSO barrels are only 5.4”. The additional 1/2” negates the cutting of the slide if us8ng the stock barrel.
-
Doesn’t your czechmate come with two barrels? Have you tried cutting additional threads on the second barrel and try using that instead? Your TSO looks good with that Sebo comp on it. I might play around with my TSO and Czechmate since I got a second barrel that came with my czechmate.

Not sure about that but my TTI +5 doesn’t increase the length to over 141.25mm.

They’re the same tube. The plastic base pad adds two rounds making the capacity 19.

Contact either Josh or Tom of DAA. I know they’ll be having at least a 5% discount for Memorial Day.

New Dillon Autodrive Pre Order
George16 replied to Johnnymazz's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I talked to one of the reps yesterday and they’ll be shipping their Autodrive this week. Glad you’re finally getting yours. -
Cuz, I have a MK7 on a Dillon RL1100. The firmware that came with the MK7 is the latest and I was able to process brass at 2500 RPH. I tried 3000 and 3500 for a few seconds and the whole machine was shaking like crazy. I got the same answer re speed when I called MK7 to ask and order a machine from them. They told me it’ll take 6-8 weeks because they’re fulfilling orders for their resellers and distributors so I ended up buying one from DAA. The MK7 I got actually have “1050 Pro” on the belt cover. Setting it up. ETA: I called Dillon yesterday to order some stuff and the rep told me that they’re shipping out the Autodrive this week.
-
I can actually run below 1000 RPH ( 800-900) by increasing the dwell time of the machine. Towards the end of the manual, it explains the dwell times.
-
Oops, my mistake. I just corrected my original post to show 1000 RPH. Sorry for the confusion.
-
The manual needs to be updated. I received my MK7 from DAA two weeks ago and it has the latest firmware. Here’s a pic showing the available speeds on the tablet.
-
Current firmware sets the slowest speed at 1000 RPH.
