    Shooting with music.

Love dry firing + music. I also have incorporated some shooting specific workouts into my exercise routine (sometimes using an airsoft pistol, but usually weights), and I always play music for that too. On the dry fire stuff, I usually have my phone playing music, and my ipad next to it with Stoegers book on dry firing propped up so I can flip easily between drills.
  2. +1 for Evike.com I had a good experience overall with Evike, although recently they kind of dropped the ball on shipping. Their customer service was pretty helpful though. I've continued to shop through them. For targets..I can't say enough good stuff about TacTrainers. They're a little expensive, but I really like the targets so far. Made for a nice little setup in my garage!

    The Idea

I'm new here, but I love the idea. I've been spending a lot of time working out in order to improve my shooting performance, so it's great to have a place to throw ideas around.

    bursitis

I've dealt with Bursitis for the past 10 years, thanks to the Army and lots of running. My best advice - and you're not going to like it, is to rest. I've iced and taken meds, but rest is the only constant that helps a lot with it. Anytime it flares up, I focus my workouts more on other areas (upper body, core, etc) - and then go back to my cardio/running in a couple of days. Also worth noting, I've found that slow running is MUCH harder on the joints than faster running. Perhaps you can alternate between rest and some limited sprints once you're feeling a little better? Hope it gets better..I know that sucks a lot.

    Hello!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. Been lurking for a while here..long enough that I am knee deep into 3 Gun gear and practice, and feel pretty good about all my gear and preparation. I got the "gun bug" about a year ago. I was actually supposed to be in my first 3GN match today, but I sent my M2 out for some work, and unfortunately it was delayed getting back, so I backed out. I had multiple offers to use someone else's gun, but I wanted to prepare more anyway. Pretty much got a slew of gear for the tactical class. In the midst of all my prep for the tactical class, I'm also building out my reloading setup (which I won't go into now), and I'm also building an entire second rig for the heavy class which I am super pumped about shooting (no pun intended). Anyway, glad to be here!
