  1. I recently bought a PSA PCC as a backup gun to my main Diamondback pcc. the throat on the barrel is short and my 1.12 OAL loads hit the LANS and I cannot pull the charging handle to eject the last round. I have a choice, either reduce my loads to 1.10 or less and adjust my powder load to account for the shorter OAL (the cheaper soluition) OR, send the gun to my gunsmith and have him throat the barrel to allow me to use my 1.12 loads. WHAT would you do?
  2. My case feeder keeps moving and is dropping extra brass into the funnel. The only thing I see that is loose is the screw that attaches the feeder to the mounting tube. Upon inspection I discovered that the whole assembly is stripped out of the plastic. Not sure how to fix this or what to tell Dillon on what I need to fix this. Pics attached. The first pic shows the hole where the metal thread insert goes and the 2nd is the screw and the metal insert. Any ideas on how to fix / repair or what to tell Dillon I need to repair would be greatly welcomed. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  3. As til tok said there is no ruling on that. The RO just doesn't like pcc so he makes up rules. Now, that being said, level 1 clubs that are not 100% affiliated and are running outlaw matches can make up rules as they see fit. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk

  6. I have had weight issues from 120 to 130 grns. that is a wide variation. Diameters are from .355 to .358. doesnt sound like much but can cause issues on a tight toleranced barrel.
  7. I am currently loading / shooting 125 grn blue bullets One of the things I have noticed about their product is the wide variations of weights and diameters mainly due to the coating. I know that there are a few other manufactures of coated bullets. SNS, Bayou, and black bullets. if there are other manufacturers I would like to know about them. I am currently buying blues for .06 each shipped but the inconsistencies are a bit concerning. For those who are running coated bullets. What brand are you using and what is your experience regarding diameter and weight consistency and how much are you paying per bullet with shipping?
  8. WAY DOWN. Damn. They really should post those from newest to oldest. Just sayin.
  9. that link is for the whole list. which specific ruling are you referring?
  10. because their holsters are outside of that measurement and having to bring that in closer will make them to retrain to draw from closer to the body.
  11. Sarge, can you post the link about this. I would like to share it on my clubs FB page
  12. HAHAHA, I shoot PCC. Dont have to deal with the holster thing. My mag pouches are legal already. I do know of a few OPEN and LMTD shooters who are going to be hating life shortly.
  13. I suspect that your feed ramp, being cut by hand, was not lined up 100% with the mags and that is what caused your feed issues. IT maybe was not functioning properly with the BCG as well.
  14. I know that buffer springs has been talked about A LOT. My question is actually 3. 1) 223 vs 308. I currently use a 308 JP spring in my PCC on a Blitzkrieg buffer. I was at the range today testing the gun and my loads after some squib issues and noticed that the dot was moving a ton more than I remember it moving when I first put in the JP 308 spring. Now granted, the round count from when the spring was first put in the gun to today is over 5000 or more rounds and I would not be surprised if there was some fatigue and the OAL of the spring was shorter. I shot a buddies pcc and he is using a 223 spring in his buffer tube and the same buffer. The gun was much flatter than mine. HMMMM? 2) Tubbs / Stirke Industries Flat wire buffer spring vs normal round wire spring? I watched some videos about the difference in compression and release from a compressed position. It looks like there is some merit to going to a flat spring over a round spring. I was also seeing that they say the flat springs put more energy sending the bolt back to battery. Would that energy release cause MORE dot movement or less? If the buffer spring is being compressed less and the energy is more stable on release moving forward wouldn't that make for a flatter running gun? 3) 223 / carbine flat wire or round wire? OR 308 / AR10 round wire or flat wire spring? I am interested in reading the post responses on each of these questions.
  15. . Especially since the MD didn't assess the penalty (that was another RO). I almost blew my drink out of my nose when I read that. LMAO
  16. - I never said I was excused from the rules. - Never said I challenged the call at the match - READ the thread and you will see that I'm working on finding the cause and fixing it. - look at the above F response. - I was and am simply asking for discussion and to see where and how the rules apply as I was not sure. 17. A - the md is a great guy whose application of the rules is always fair and to the shooters advantage if it can go either way. B - the md was not the one who called the fte. It was the RO. C - we were discussing this question at dinner after the match D - no where in my post was I bitching about the call. E - my gun did not blow up F - relax Francis Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  18. I am working on figuring out why I had the squib. TRUST ME, That is very much on my mind. in the indoor range there is a lot of echos, unlike at an outdoor stage. the sound of the squib was not heard and by the time the RO figured out something was wrong I had already fired the second shot. I am very fortunate that the very nature of the design of the PCC kept it from being more dangerous. That being said, I do not want to turn this discussion into trying to figure out the squib. Please let's keep the discussion to my question. thanks
  19. I was the shooter last night at my home indoor match. I was shooting the last stage of the night and was at my last target. I pointed my PCC at the target, pulled the trigger, gun went bang (quietly, aka squib), it ejected the brass, I pulled the trigger again and the second round fired and blew the mag out of the gun. I shot AT THE TARGET 2 TIMES, 2 shots were recorded on the timer. I took the gun to the safe area and was able to clear the squib round and discovered 2 bullets in the barrel. I was charged with two mikes AND and FTE / FTSA procedural. I am not disputing the mikes as no rounds came out of the gun. I was questioning the FTE / FTSA as I did engage the target. I did not run past it and NOT shoot at it at all. There were 2 shots on the timer. My question is, and was to the MD, is the validity of the FTE / FTSA procedural being applied? We looked up the rules and could not find anything that addressed this specifically. How would you, as an RO, have scored the target / stage in this scenario?
  20. Yes. I've done everything you are supposed to do. My oal is 1.125 as well. The mags function flawlessly for a while then the above issues start happening Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  21. Reviving this thread..... the reason for that is for an update on the original issue and to report about the same issue arising again with a different glock mag. After looking at the mag and replacing the spring provided by Robin Taylor over at Taylor Freelance and the replacement spring NOT fixing the feed issue with that glock tube. I ordered a new mag and put the new spring in that new tube. That magazine has been working fine. I had the same issue arise with my other 33rnd mag with a TF extension and the extended spring that Robin sells this past weekend. The mag failed after 3 shots in a stage. When I pulled the charge handle I saw several rounds loose in the front of the BCG. I had to drop the mag and had my Oh s#!t mag with me and was able to finish the stage with 2 rounds to spare. I noticed that prior to the start of that stage, when I was reloading the mag, the spring felt "spongy". I changed out the spring with a spare extension spring I had into the same tube today and just like in the first post, the new spring would not feed properly in the tube that had the feed problem. Somehow the spring fatigue does something to the tube as well. (my guess is the heating and cooling of the mag from over 6 to 7k rounds torqued the tube just enough to not allow it to feed properly). I had a spare 33rd mag and put the new extension spring plus the TF extension on it and it runs fine. I am really at a loss as to why this is happening. This is twice. both mags are around 5 months old. I have done some research on the web and cannot find where anyone is reporting this issue. I did some math. Over the 5 month period, I have shot about 11 stages a week with an average stage count of 220 stage. Multiply that by 40 rounds per mag, that is over 8k round in and out of the mags and about 5500 to 6500 rounds shot. I do unload my mags after each match. I have ha some people tell me that not keeping them loaded causes early fatigue of the spring. Is that actually something that is documented? Do Glock mags not hold up to that level of use? Is this something unique to my PCC? Poor workmanship in the mag production? Poor workmanship with the spring manufacturer. (Wolff)? does my loading and unloading the mags cause the spring to fail prematurely? I am open to hear the thoughts from my fellow PCC shooters using glock mags.
  22. To be 100 percent honest I have never shot my PCC at 50 yards. The longest shot I have seen at a match was 35 yards and that was in a 2 gun match. Most of the stages in USPSA are under 25 yards. I am interested to see if anyone has benched their PCC and shot out to 50.
  23. I use the same one but in the sand color to match my Drago bag. YES, I carry my pcc in a bag in a bag. The main reason is that on some of the ranges I shoot you are required to put your pcc on a staging table or bench and they require that it be in a bag to move it to the table. I have lots of other parts and stuff in my Drago bag and dont like having to move that on and off my cart each time.
  24. here in the ATL we have several great clubs both indoor and outdoor. Indoor matches - GPSL - usually 3 stages every tuesday - NAAS - 2 to 4 stages depending on size of the turn out there are other indoor USPSA matches just two far away for me to get to. Outdoor matches - - River Bend Gun Club; this club has one of the highest turn outs for a monthly match. Usually over 100 shooters and 8 stages with one being a classifier. - South River Gun Club; this club runs two monthly USPSA matches (one as a temp match while another local club deals with some fussy neighbors) usually 6 to 7 stages each match with about 40 to 75 shooters there are other outdoor matches but most are out side of my driving range. We also have a lot of IDPA and GADPA matches locally both indoor and outdoor.
