  1. I’ve watched Kenny’s videos on you tube, actually really like the slide cut patterns on that particular gun. I’m going with a middy hybrid so the shorter comp should be better.
  2. Don helped me figure out the comp, he recommended the two or three port but mentioned he liked the two port for 9mm because of less gas and the two popple holes. He said they both would be great so either one I choose would be good lol
  3. Awesome!! I can’t wait. I went with a Titanium 2 port binary comp.
  4. no problem, always happy to help
  5. Yep going with a Kkm 5” island barrel. Just waiting for them to make the barrels. I had all the aluminum parts anodized myself by a local company.
  6. I was having massive fouling on my optic, so I gave sig a call. My first legion Sig swapped out my barrel after two phone calls and made it right. They originally told me I could purchase a new barrel and it should drop right in. I called back about a month later and they sent me a call tag to swap the barrel out free of charge. Once I got the new barrel it did indeed drop right on in and no more fouling on my optic. I just picked up my second legion Monday and it had the lci as well. I called Tuesday and sig sent me a call tag for the barrel to swap it out, can’t ask for much better customer service then that.
  7. I’ve been running the DPP for about 6 months on my legion. I picked up a second legion earlier this week and outfit it with a DPP right away. They’ve been good to me so far and I have no reason to switch now. I purchased both dots used and they haven’t let me down. I have about about 8k on the first dot, I haven’t had any brass hitting the dot shroud, I did recently bang the dot on something, not sure what but it put a knick in the glass, it’s barely noticeable. I’ll keep running it until I kill it or it bothers me enough to send it back to Leupold.
  8. 12yds - listen to yong Lee’s podcast in firearms nations episode 94 https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/firearms-nation-podcast/id1218976087?i=1000426267081
  9. Have Don working me up an open blaster!!! Can’t wait to get it
  10. The keres website shows 4-6 weeks I had mine in a few days. Give them a call. I have two of their triggers for my legions. I have not installed it on my new gun yet as I just picked up my second legion Monday. I have had the keres on my first legion since August and it has been great. I have the gray guns trigger kit in it and has been great from day one. I’m not sure on the poundage as far the trigger weight but it’s night and day difference then my stock trigger.
  11. I got bit by the Open bug after my Limited gun went down mid season last year and went back to CO. I haven't experienced any dot issues with my CO setup, but I did just but a second CO setup for when it does happen...Its cheaper to buy two CO setups then one open blaster, but with that being said I have an Open build in the works.
  12. Worst squib I’ve ever seen...
  13. We shot a classifier the week before merel’s standards 99-63. The middle target is at 35yds and I had 11 out of 12 shots on it, but they were all low. When I go out to the range each week for practice I start off by shooting groups. Usually max is 25yds, but I wanted to see what I could do at 35yds. Here the result of 5 shots with my limited gun shooting .40
  14. I’m running ETM mags with Dawson base pads. They’ve been running great with no issues since sti put a new barrel in my gun.
  15. I shot the paper first (6 shots), reloaded called a mike on the last shot on the paper. Indexed on the steel, transitioned to the last paper target fired an acceptable shot, then transitioned back and hit both steel 1 for 1.
  16. In for the proper answer, I’m curious what’s the correct answer. I recently did this on a classifier. Engaged the first 6 shots (3 metric targets), called a mike on the last shot and did the reload indexed on the steel, then shot a make up on paper and shot both steel. No penalty was called, I shot the classifier like so it didn’t even count in my classification.
  17. I have a red hill holster and boss hanger if interested.
  18. Picked it up used. Shoots like a dream!!
  19. Check out run cam 2 they’re $80 on amazon and have excellent video quality. I’m going on my second season shooting with it. Interchangeable batteries are $12 each. WiFi capable etc.
  20. Just picked this up Wednesday 5.4” sight tracker, can’t wait to shoot a match with it this weekend!!!
  21. Exactly as nick commented. I had the same situation with a competitor not having his safety on and instructed him to engage his safety. His reply was it is in, which I could clearly see it was not, and I was familiar with the style pcc he was shooting. He reluctantly engaged the safety and continued the day. He however was not used to pulling the trigger before flagging the gun, I explained that he still had to hammer down before he flagged the gun.
  22. We had a similar thing happen this past week at our local match. Two shooters needed to shoot though because they had to leave early. The first shooter walked up the line and started asking questions about the course, how many rounds, start position etc. The ro who was new was in the process of telling him to go read the wsb and the guy pulled his gun out of his holster. At no time was the guy given the make ready command. The next shooter who was reading the wsb started asking what just happened and the ro started asking him does the shooter understand the course of fire. I talked to the ro after he was finished and suggested not to engage with small talk before starting a shooter. If there’s a situation like that again tell him to read the wsb and call the next shooter up on deck. That leaves little to room for someone to do something stupid. Yes the shooter who got dq’d was anxious to get started but wasn’t paying attention to what the ro was saying and he ended up going home. This immediately got his buddies attention and he had no issue understanding what he was supposed to do and not do. The shooter that got dq’d went and complained to our rm that the ro didn’t used the proper range commands when he asked the ro about the course of fire.
  23. Our local club has a gun and Calibration ammo at every match. I’ve only needed to call calibration 1 time and our rm came down and did the calibration check. Popper fell over and the shooter was issued 1 mike. I’ve also been to other local matches and was told just to give the shooter a reshoot with no question of calibration being done. Most at times is there is a calibration issue it’s pretty apparent and the poppers won’t fall even when shooting major. I’ve found each scenario at a level 1 Match is handled according to the issue at hand. Not all steel is painted between each shooter and it’s hard to address which shot could have been the shooter in question. If it’s a first or second shooter on a stage it’s usually easy to figure out which shot was there’s because steel is painted after a squad finishes a stage.
