  1. I'm torn. On one hand, this is brilliant. GM level skating. On the other hand, I'd almost rather help tear down and go home early than have to waste that much of my life watching PCC dudes struggle.
  2. As far as I'm aware, you can't have both.
  3. Yep, mines in the middle. I keep a box of projectiles and primers on the left, along with my flip tray and scale. I keep powder and filled tubes on the right, along with bins for completed rounds. Works out well.
  4. Thing would look AND feel soooo good.
  5. I'm guessing once those are released, they'll be able to be cut for weight (which one would assume will be cheaper than having CZC do a optic cut AND a weight cut) Right?
  6. Lok Palmswell Bogies are almost identical in shape to the rubber grips, but made from a superior material.
  7. Just because they can shoot themselves, doesn't necessarily mean they can teach well. I've taken a couple of classes that have left me feeling similar.
  8. They run fine through CZs. That load will work fine, though I've gotten it down to 3.1g TG under a 147 blue bullet.
  9. Picture a big jacked dude in the gym warming up with weights that other guys cant even lift once... He's capable of more, and that warm up is just business as usual. He's done that particular movement, and supporting exercises thousands of times over to get to the point where it looks as easy as it does. At one point, he probably struggled with that weight, too. Ability comes through hard work and experience. As said, there's no secret sauce.
  10. Good work @Mercs, looks like with a little time spent with a dremel you saved yourself a few bucks. That said... 3) I doubt they're losing money. I have no idea what CZC's margins are, but the market will bear what the market will bear. Your grips are made in who knows what country from god knows what material, and are marketed to teenagers who will bolt them up to a toy. I can't speak for CZ UB Grips, as they're likely made in central europe, but CZC grips are made in the US. Everything costs more to make here. 3) Why? Because they dont fit real guns without first attacking them with a dremel. - You can do anything you want, but most companies don't advertise the fact that their products can be modified to work in manners other than intended. As such, they market them "for airsoft guns only" ?
  11. Material is pretty much irrelevant. Hell, I was rocking 3D printed grips for a while. If they fit the frame and don't drag on the magazine, you're set.
  12. 9lb recoil spring letting you see more than the 10lb was? I bought a ten and went to put it in, only to realize my 11lb is already way lighter than the fresh 10lb Kinda thinking about rigging up a spring rate tester and playing with new/old/clipped springs.
  13. As someone who's done my fair share of shortcutting with carb cleaner and an air compressor, I can positively say that nothing quite beats a full strip down and proper cleaning/lube job.
  14. What issue exactly are you having? I'm loading 135s over 3.5gr TG @ 1.150. Just put 800 of 'em through my Shadow 2 without a hiccup.
  15. NEO Shooters was the name of the club that ran matches at a range called ARO group. DSS is the new owner of the same range, and have renamed their club to DSS as well. Same place (with the addition of some nice range updates), and same great matches. Scott and crew are doing great things up here for us. Check the calendar and head on down! Every match has new shooters meeting beforehand. They're always extremely helpful and accommodating.
  16. Yep! This is the place to be. The range/club has recently undergone some changing of hands, and more up to date information can be found here: https://www.dynamicshootingsports.us/ There's also a club up past Chardon if you're an eastsider: https://www.practicalpistol.net/ And if you just can't wait for the weather to break, there's an indoor in Canal Fulton: http://www.thearmoryandrange.com/competition.html
  17. Just another way of saying they're anodized Aluminium.
  18. I think that to make the best plan, you have to know what your capabilities are. If you're out planning your current capabilities, you've already identified what you need to work on. That being said, I think a lot of people underestimate their capabilities, especially if they're able to shoot accurately. - The amount of people who are afraid to speed up, or SOTM because they're too hyperfocused on shooting two well aimed shots...

  20. Are you only doing it with this specific gun? Ball & Dummy?
  21. Personally I'm not into the idea of letting it be up to an RO's discretion. I'm also not really into my rear sight being potentially moved midway through a major. But, if it "fits" and you're willing to argue if and when the time comes...
