  1. Don't forget 9mm brass is all different thickness. I load Blazer exclusively for a 9mm revolver. Using presized brass with a a clutch of 1 on my Mark7 Blazer and FC will load fine but most others require a clutch of 4-5 (ie the press stops with a 1 setting) . Meaning S&B and CBC are a LOT thicker.
  2. Dave has done all our guns. http://www.olhasso.com/services.html
  3. New starline 38supercomp brass is HORRIBLE to load. On my Revo I have to crank up the clutch and she’s not a happy camper. When I’m going to load new starline again I’ll resize(??) it as a separate stand alone step on my automated 650 after washing it. - the cases come out nasty and oily if you don’t. is this normal for starline brass?
  4. My wife and I use the DAA posts, for years. And rarely does a moon fly off and I do like to tear around a stage (I had my 2011 rig hit the deck on the weekend during a stage-interesting to say the least) And anyway I just added more posts so I don't have to worry if one falls off, plus I shamelessly copied MWP and have 2 extra LOMR posts behind my left hip. The plastic racks look uncomfortable but I've never tried one.
  5. The ginex are slightly oversized though not by much but it's enough. Enough i had to monitor the feed on my revo and give it a tap to keep them feeding. Cleaning and siliconing the ramp didn't work.
  6. 2.8gr W231 behind an Ibej 165gr .358 @ 1.19" ~127pf (out of a 929) Way cleaner than N320 which I betting doesn't burn well at the low charge weights.
  7. WFargo- No Fiocchi's? We only have Ginex and Fiocchi's here and the Italian primers are a harder but not by much,
  8. My elbows are aching just looking at that thing. I'll be taking a look at your carbon barrels next month Mike.
  9. My revo rounds actually got a little cheaper by switching to W231 from N320. Which has been impossible to find up here and/or gone up by $80 a 2kg tub. Ibejheads proj. are the same cost as 2019 and I got enough primers for a while. $94.99 for Fed100 is better than the $110 I saw in PA back in April. I have not seen Federals in Canada for well over a year.
  10. My guess is they are running flat out and/or having supply issues requiring different raw materials. I'm surprised anything is coming out of Europe given the ongoing war.
  11. I’m sensitive to sunlight as well as I have the habit of always wearing sunglasses. But I don’t find the golds to be too bright and I do think you wouldnt want them too dark shooting at a match anyway.
  12. I left my gold's on recently (steel match, shrapnel was flying everywhere) and drove away with them on. I did find them brighter than my usual sunglasses but not in a bad way and I left them on.
  13. I love the FCD. Probably well over 100k loaded with it. I load to 1.19 with a 165gr. zero issues.
  14. I'm wondering why the coating is being removed? I occasionally have it happen but I'm shoving a .358 round in a 9mm case and probably the bullet might not be true to spec anyway. and I am using the uniquetech expander for exactly this purpose
  15. I’m definitely in the camp of a huge stockpile of 9mm blazer brass. Given I’m loading for 2 shooters and decent practice amounts I’d need a lot of starline short colt. I also like the DAA moons (cheaper than TK) and DAA posts. Yes they aren’t as sticky but it makes for a faster reload.
  16. 231/hp-38 is a whole lot cleaner than N320. A fortunate accident of misplacing a few tubs of N320 forcing me to change powders.
  17. Be wary of for a semi loaded 9mm. By shot 7 or 8 your bullet might pop out. Just shoot 4 unload and measure OAL. Repeat. plus the 929 is fussy with ammo and point of impact
  18. It’s is…. and it’s been going on for well over a year.
  19. Ask MWP about the ball detent, I’ve never had the cahones to try installing one.
  20. Old school slideride for the win here. While I do have a backup, I’ve never had to use it. Only optic issue was the windage screw loosened and vanished on one of my blasters.
  21. Revo shooting for me is brutal on the support hand elbow.
  22. A massive amount of Ginex seems to have landed. Prices are the same as 2022. Which isn’t great but not bad either. Federals are nowhere to be found still up here
  23. TK are looser than DAA moons. S&B and Remington are too loose for either. WIN and TK would probably be the best fit. DAA takes either Blazer or FC nicely WIN can be too tight in DAA and nickel WIN, forget it. I tried once.
