Searched the net and couldn’t find the definite answer regarding old TSO and relatively new TS 2 orange.
What’s the difference between these two pistols?TS 2 Orange, is this really a new and improved version of old TSO or simply TS 2 line with bull barrel?

My biggest order has only been 250 Euro (US$277 or AUD$414) and had no issues with customs here in Australia. Their FAQ page is pretty good and they clearly state whet they won't sell/ship out of Europe. Much easier for me to source gear from them as there's no ITARs and/or EARs to worry about.
Thank you sir… very helpful information!

Give the IPSC Store over in Estonia a crack. I've ordered plenty of EEMANN Tech and Toni Systems bits for my Tanfo's from them and had it sent all the way over here in Australia no worries. Sometimes things will be on back order but I've had nothing majorly delayed so far.
Thank you so much for the lead.... always wondered about that place.
Did you have any issue ordering more than $99 at a time w/ customs, etc?

Pretty sure the two I have for my Pro Customs are Cheeley's. I did buy them quite a few years ago. I know Taran Tactical is making 2011 magwells, wouldn't hurt to ask them if they might fit.
I don't know the grip screw size or thread right off hand and I've yet to replace any parts other than a mag release, which I bought from Dawson. I understand most of the SVI trigger stuff works.
Thanks… very helpful.

No big deal at all. And most of the time I get my stuff faster than from inside the US
That’s nice! I’m going to order some from them.
Did you use the $15 postal service or $30 DHL service? Not sure the speed difference.

Yes, I have placed multiple hundred dollar orders through them. They also run frequent sales.
CZ's US webstore also has some o the colored parts. Also look at cz-parts.com
Thanks.... will check them as well.
Is it big deal if order was more than $100?

I need to order some color Unica and Toni system color parts (thumb rest, comp, grip, magwell, etc) for my Tanfo Stock II, III, Limited, Gold team, etc.
Does anyone know any reliable webstores outside of US?
Any issue with dealing customs or shipping delay?
Thanks in advance.

Also check out cesar-shop.com out of Slovenia.
Is it ok to purchase gun parts out of US and ship them to here?.... especially over $100?

This is from Dawson… so sad.
We do apologize we will not offer magwells for Para 2011.I would probably try Brownell's. We discontinued making magwell for Para over 4 years ago.Thank you. -

Check with Dawson and Cheely Custom Gunworks.
I prefer Dawson… TF magwell is just too big for me.

Didn’t know they work on Para.

Does anyone know where to find the magwell for Para Ordnance P16-40 Limited?
Also, what's the grip screw size or where to find them?
I also need to rebuild the internal and need some extra parts for para specific part replacement.
It seems like the platform support isn't big as it used to be...

Would not recommend APW. Had them do a full DLC refinish an SV that I put a new top end on and: 1) finishing work was subpar, with horizontal brush marks visible in the receiver when should have been polished or blasted, 2) price was outrageous to start, and then they billed me for more than I was quoted, even though I specifically requested that the contact me prior to finishing if there was going to be any additional costs (their excuse was that the vendor raised their prices), 3) they lost some of my small parts and then tried to say I never sent them, although they eventually found them and sent them to me, and 4) they took about 3x longer than originally quoted (which they also blamed on their vendor). So, overall, not a good experience.
Thanks for sharing… very helpful.

I have been a fan of APW Cogan, but just had a bad experience. They were to refinish a set of shotgun barrels for me. When it came time to send them back, they called for my credit card number which was fine. It was shipped the next day and should have arrived at the destination in 3 days or less (USPS Priority). The package was last scanned 4 days later, and has not been seen since. This was 5 weeks ago. There have been efforts by the local postmaster to find the package with no luck to date. The problem is, that they did not insure the barrels for any more than the cost of the refinishing. They said that that is their normal process. They did not ask me if I wanted them insured for more when they called. I am out a set of barrels because of poor policies in their company. I guess I will go with Ford for the new barrels that I bought that will need a finish put on them.
Wow… that sucks.
Sorry to hear that… I personally hate USPS.
Their insurance is pretty much scam, and their tracking system is just worthless. -
How to get ahold of Ron Mahovsky?
It seems like no one returned my email or voice messages.

That's pretty awesome with shipping label provided by the refinisher.

I need to send my CZ and Tanfo for hard chrome refinish.
I called and emailed Ron @ Mahovsky's Metalife, but no email reply and no one called me back.
Anyone sent their CZ or Tanfo to Ron recently?
Also, what carrier should I use to send handguns these days?
I know FedEx & USPS are out of question and UPS has new policy regarding handgun, etc.... any thoughts?
Any other decently priced handgun hard chrome plating shop to share?

Various 3 port comps seem to be the current trend.
That said actual comp design makes no difference, if it did, every comp by every manufacturer would be the same or as close as patents if they were used would allow, but they aren't.
Oh I see... thanks for your reply.

if you have a mill you will probably be happiest with milling whatever 2011 comp you like to clear the frame rails, you will also need to angle the back of the comp to match the slide, this is also better than using an off the shelf one as you can adjust the slide to comp clearance for a better appearance.
Excellent advice... will have to search for the 2011 comps w/ that features.
Do you know what everyone using these days?

Purchased a threaded 11/16-40 pitch Patriot Defense 9mm Tanfoglio Match Bull Barrel a year ago.
I need a compensator that fits 11/16-40 pitch and also clears the limited custom frame.
Unfortunately, PD is out of their comp and not sure who has anything that fits above thread pitch.
Also anything cheaper than PD comp? any 2011 comp with 11/16-40 thread pitch?
I have a mini-mill, and I could mill out the side for frame clearance if needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you could put a small ball bearing in there and stake it in.
Thanks… finding a tiny part that fits might be a challenge
TSO vs TS 2 orange
in CZ
Posted
Thank you guys…
To be clear, TS 2 Orange is NOT a predecessor of TSO and more of TS 2 Hand fitted w/ bill barrel?
What’s the major difference between TSO and plain TS2?
Hand fitted and thumb rest?
