Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Waiting on my 8 moa to come in. Should be here on Monday 5/18. It will be replacing a Burris FF3 8moa on a Q5. Cant wait to see how much bigger the glass will be. I’ll update after I mount it and sight it in.
  2. I have a poly Q5 and mine does it no problem. It’s also well broken in though.
  3. Great job on this one. I might have to borrow the color scheme for mine.
  4. I have the LnL. When I bought it I had heard some of the horror stories about the priming system. So when I set it up I made sure I smoothed out all the rough machining marks and chamfered the holes where the primer sits in the slide. I have made about 9k rounds on it so far and have yet to have any priming issues. I think a lot of problems on a lot of presses stem from poor quality control when the make them. They just don’t take the time to make sure everything is cleaned up and smooth. I think I will eventually upgrade to big blue but for my needs right now big red is working fine.
  5. You will like the mini me bullet feeder. I had the same problem with the Hornady die when I switched to coated. I opened up the collets on it and it would work but would jam up about 3 or 4 times per hundred. That’s when I said screw it and order the mini. No problems 600 rounds in yet!!
  6. For what it’s worth I shoot steel Challenge with a slightly modified buckmark 22 pistol with iron sights. To me it’s a 22 game if you want speed. Right now I’m a high B trying to break in to A.
  7. I just got my brazos order in the mail today. Very fast shipping!! I ordered it Thursday night. I got the 125’s and 145’s, going to load some up tonight and hopefully hit the range on Wednesday to see how they shoot out of the Q5.
  8. This was the problem when I got my Q5 last year. I could not find a holster for it so I made my own. It was not that difficult. As stated about the Q it has a different slide profile compared to a regular 5 inch ppq.
  9. They were seated even with the brass. The ones with the dented primer that didn't shoot in the Q5 I shot in my little Taurus 9mm revolver and my ar 9 and all went bang then.
  10. It won't let me upload picture. Keeps says file to large. I don't know how to make it smaller.
  11. I'm at work right now. When I get home later I will.
  12. I bought 5k worth the last time I was at cabelas in PA. I thought great price they were 1k@17.99. Well I finally was burned thru my stash of cci and went to go use the s&B. They were no good for my ppq q5. Atleast 2 or three would not go bang out of each mag. They did work fine in my 9mm revolver and ar 9. The outside box is marked small pistol/small rifle but the inside boxes are all marked small rifle. I will just use them for the revolver and ar from now on.
