Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. So I wrote the DNROI and got my answer. Only the 5 inch tactical version of the XD Mod 2 is currently approved for USPSA production. The 4 inch Service version and the 3 inch Subcompact version are not as of yet. Hopefully that will change soon. The old XD versions of all of these are approved.
  2. I'm hoping to shoot a USPSA match in the near future (after having been out of it for more than a decade) with my XD Mod 2 Service Model. I was checking the USPSA/NROI approved list for Production and saw that they have the old XDs on there but only the 5 inch Tactical version in the list for the Mod 2; no Service Model or Subcompact listed. Then I noticed (at least on the list I found online) that under the S&W group of approved guns it says that the XD Mod 2 was added on 2/8/17. Obviously the XD Mod 2 is a Springfield not an S&W, so I suspect that this is an error in the way the list was posted. Can anyone clarify if this is the case and/or tell me if the XD Mod 2 Service Models and/or Mod 2 Subcompacts are approved for USPSA Production? Thanks! Ken
  3. Hi all, I'm new to this forum and decided to join so I could ask questions of folks and perhaps engage in some dialogue. I did a few USPSA matches here in Colorado along the Front Range more than a decade ago and am thinking about getting involved in that again. Eventually I'd like to try some Three Gun matches; but just getting started with pistol only to ease my way back into it. So I'll probably mostly be asking for thoughts about that. Cheers! Ken
