  1. In my 15-22, I just cleaned up the factory trigger and added the yellow/red JP springs. It's not too bad.
  2. I am pretty excited, because finally have 2 complete guns! No more passing parts back and forth or switching uppers etc. Now I just need to go test out the replacement Elftmann and the new Blitzkrieg HD + weight on the primay gun (top) . The back-up/loaner gun (bottom) just needs to get the optic zeroed, since it came off the other gun when I got the 510c.
  3. I have been using a UM tactical big stick holder horizontally in front. Seems to be working very well so far, and I have almost zero fear of the mag popping out. https://www.umtactical.com/store/p106/GLOCK_MAG_HOLDER_%2F%2F_PCC_BIG_STICK.html
  4. I received them late last night, and may poke at it a little bit today. But the weight feels much heavier than my steel bushing I have been using as a spacer. I will probably get out the scale, and also try and install this new setup, if I get time.
  5. I agree with this! I dont need the extra attention, from anyone, especially those boys.
  6. I have a buddy that did this, and it fixed his.
  7. Just ordered the Blitzkrieg HD and weight. We shall see if I can notice much difference. Almost didn't get the weight because I am currently using a steel bushing for a spacer, and I could probably use it instead, but it's not as heavy.
  8. Fun day yesterday! I ended up 6th out of 27 overall, and 4th out 8 PCC, which isn't too bad this old guy, still trying to learn how to shoot again. New 510c is great. Back up lower, and primary upper combo ran like a sewing machine!
  9. I used it with the Rex riser in our local Tues night league and I like it. I did notice that it's so tall I wasn't able to use the bottom of the circle for up close hold over adj. I put the correct Holosun riser on it Friday and double checked zero, and comfort wise, I didn't even notice the difference in height. Today is USPSA so this will be the real test. we shall see how it goes
  10. If you want less weight and are not going to hang anything on it, the shorter is better. If you dont mind the tiny amount of extra weight of another 1.5" of carbon fiber, and/or you possibly might need to put a laser or light (night match) out there, the extra length allows you to do that, and have it be less likely to interfere with your normal grip.
  11. They just replied to my follow up emails. They are saying that in the process of developing the AR9 trigger it works so well that they changed all of their other triggers to the AR9. IDK
  12. SE would be the baseline Today I was told there is no difference between the AR9 and the AR15/AR10 match They are the same exact trigger
  13. I guess the double talk in their description caused me to believe it was actually a different trigger than the rest of their lineup.
  14. Hmmm Just got a replacement from Elftmann and it's a standard AR15/AR10 package. I sent customer service an email about it, and their reply came back, they are all the same trigger! I kinda feel like I have been a victim of a marketing ploy. I thought I read they were different triggers, and specifically made for 9mm/45cal PCCs
  15. Red is still on sale and back in stock. Also I see Crimson trace is running a Fifty dollar rebate on lasers
  16. Primary Arms had them on sale, but it may have been a one day
  17. I just ran some more Remington umc through it again, using both BCGs and both had some pierced primers. I think it must be the ammo. I have the older BCG with the shoulder type pin back in it now. I will look again tonight after our local 2 gun match.
  18. I was just told by my buddy that some of the primers were pierced on the Remington UMC brass (not the Blazer Brass, but that could just be dumb luck on which ammo went through which gun) he took home from my test run of my new build. I opened up both guns, and discovered that the firing pin is different in the new BCG. It is tapered instead of having a shoulder, possibly causing it to travel farther out. The new one is on top. None of my other spare pins are like this, they all have the shoulder. Any input is welcome
  19. Perfect ! You convinced me. It's on it's way from Primary Arms. (I might have also ordered a super cheap 300 Blackout barrel while I was there LOL) Sales are nothing but trouble for me
  20. I am sure the Gamma is better for what we are doing.
  21. I was trying to do some homework for a buddy the other day, and I wasn't even sure they made a gamma for the 9mm. Because I was explaining the difference (using this pic of my two different 556) between the gamma and the Epsilon, with the Gamma having more top slots.
  22. Thanks for the pic with the riser installed. It was hard for me to gauge how tall the riser actually was. This pic helps a lot!
  23. Decided to try out the Rex riser under the new Holosun 510c It's a hair higher than I want, but I don't know if the factory riser will be tall enough. Apparently I like it a little taller than lower 3rd !?! This may be too much, but we will try it out.
