Had an Elftmann in my main gun, and a CMC in my back up.
After a bunch of screwing around with the Elftmann (including replacement) I now have a CMC in both guns.

I love the idea of these and the fact that they are clear, but I have read about, and seen so many issues with their mags that I don't know if I can get one.

Can you tell me what the width of the NLA handle is? That and the Radian were on my list too.
I use the Radian on all my red dot equipped ARs, and the NLA on my PCCs and scope equipped ARs.
I can not get you a measurement for a few days.

I would recommend the Next level Armament handle.
Big size, well built, and fairly priced.

I would try the wave spring and a quarter, as a cheap starting point.

I feel like the laser only has a few specific uses.
It's not for every day use, but if you can add it to the program, it will help.

I have full length rail, but did consider adding an MLOK section of rail, then the issue is its still a little loose.
Someone could make this product a lot better by using a plastic with a softer durometer that clipped on vs slide on.
But yea, you have a good setup there for it.
They could definitely stand to be a little less ridged

None of my handguards have a full length rail, so I will just slide it on by the front of the reciever/rear of the handguard.

I currently use a laser instead, but can see the value in a 2nd dot

You can take your time to do homework, and look for deals on parts.

I run 206 at the end of the barrel at 12 o'clock.
I run the extra lower 1/3 spacer on the 510.
I love having the option of the laser, but don't always run it.
You will get used to it being in the bottom of the 510 glass to where you won't even notice it after a while.

The weight thing has me thinking
Because I am now running the HD Blitzkrieg buffer with the extra additional weight in front of it.

Triggers are swapped and both guns got scrubbed!
While I was at it, I noticed the buffer tube nut was a little loose, so I switched it out for a Aluminum/Titainium setup from Ascend Armory that was leftover from my sons AR build.

Haven't posted in a while.
I am still getting hammer follow with the Elftmann trigger (number 2) in my main gun, and it's getting to be a pia.
I am going to switch it out for the CMC from the other gun for a while and see how that goes.
If it works out well, the Elftmann is going in to one of my 556, and I will buy another CMC.

I now have the CMC in both guns, and the Elftmann is out.
