  1. I love the quality and consistency of SNS bullets, but I got barrel leading no matter what powder was used.
  2. Very nice looking just how it is. What thumb rest is that?
  3. Dont use them in any hot loads as they are meant for low power cartridges like .25ACP
  4. Silhouette looks nearly identical as well, but is a very different powder.
  5. I run it as low on the trigger as I can put it and still have it fully supported.
  6. This is what I keep reading, too, but does anyone have any proof of that?
  7. I must have a bottle from that "hot" batch of WAC, because at 7.4gr I was blowing out over 90% of my primers and I was above 180pf with a 124 PD JHP. 8. I found out too late. I just bought 16lbs of Silhouette last night.
  9. Here is a load I have played with. It shoots good, but definitely soots up the gun. 10. A lot of guys run 7.6-7.7 under a 124. I am running 8.3 under a 115. 11. I get the feeling that those aren't sized cases as the level was higher than that for me when I was loading.
  12. 3n38 compresses somewhat well, and I had no case bulging. Everything went through a shockbottle hundo without problems. That said, I am still switching to Silhouette. 8.3gr under a 115 shot beautifully. It loads easily, too, being only about 2/3 to 3/4 full.
  13. I personally loaded some 115's and 9.4gr last night and the case was FULL! Yet, my bullet feeder managed to get a bullet to sit on every case.

  15. I love 3n38, but the case is super full. I normally run a 115, but I have run 8.8gr under a 124 just to try it, but I was closer to 175pf. I think about 8.5gr will get what you want.
  16. I ran 10.5gr of AA7 under a 115jhp. It shoots great, but produces cornmeal when it burns.
  17. It is from the shellplate rotation cam (not using Dillon technical terms here) resetting. At that particular point in the cycle you can slow down and it wont be as big of an issue. The addition of a shellplate bearing kit helps quite a bit.
  18. 3n38 and Power Pistol have been pretty darned clean for me.
  19. It comes off with 4 screws under the mount, and there are 2 recoil lugs that are a very tight fit in my Tevo Sports mount. I could probably lose 3/4 of my screws and the sight would stay zeroed. It is a proprietary mount, but TEvo Sports nailed their version of it.
  20. The use of titegroup with coated bullets can increase the deposits because it burns hot. My personal experience with titegroup and SNS and Precision coated bullets was less than desirable. Right now RMR has their plated round nose flat point bullets in stock for $87/1000 and they will not only be easier to keep subsonic (not easy with a 124 and also generate enough slide velocity to cycle reliably) but they will also eliminate any chance of leading.
  21. Even the best coated bullets (The Blue Bullets) will have coating come off inside the suppressor, which inevitably cooks the polymer onto itself. I always use a plated or JHP bullet with a suppressor, because even an FMJ can cause lead deposits. Fast powders like Titegroup, N310, N320, Sport Pistol, AA2 and similar will have the best sound. My carry load is a 147gr HST over 5.1gr of N350 and a CCI SPM, but it is very loud out of my Omega 9k compared to my 3.4gr Titegroup load because of the slow burn rate of the powder.
  22. Dont shoot coated bullets through a suppressor. My load is an RMR 147gr plated bullet over 3.4gr of titegroup at about 1.155" and it sounds very nice through my 9K.
  23. Many people believe, perhaps correctly, that the shorter mounting footprint allows for a less obstructed ejection pathway and more reliable operation.
  24. I would take a Holosun HS510C over all of them. It has a large window, insane battery life, and is very durable.
