  1. It is the hard anodized parts wearing in. It goes away.
  2. 15,000 bullets from them in 4 separate orders and all arrived in a timely manner
  3. Yup. 1700fps+ easy for my 115gr loads. Stout recoil. My girlfriend took her PCC to her October Well Armed Woman meeting and I brought some of my 9major loaded with 115gr Everglades V2 over 10.5 of AA7 and it was obliterating the pumpkins they were shooting.
  4. The ramp is why they are worth it. I built an AR PDW and had to replace the barrel and bolt but I achieved 100% reliability with fat mouth 147gr HST's.
  5. Mine is getting delivered tomorrow, and I shoot nearly entirely suppressed. This should be interesting....
  6. I use Red Line 5w-30 synthetic. It is formulated without polymeric viscosity index improvers, has a ton of moly. I have found that it is also great as a bore cleaner on a cotton patch. During the summer all of my guns get Lubriplate SFL-0 grease. It is a synthetic food grade grease with excellent antiwear properties, a very low viscosity, and it is non-polar so it does not attract dust. My CK open gun runs great with it. -Unapologetic oil nerd
  7. Shooting Innovations makes the only barrels I will put into a PCC.
  8. I have a Venom on a CZ P-09 and I just changed the battery for the first time last week, after about 3 years of use. I like it, but I did like the bigger window of the DPP when I had one on my open gun.
  9. I don't mean the typical leading inside the barrel, I was seeing starburst shaped streaks of lead on the muzzle of my pistols, deposits sprayed on the bezel of my weapon light and lead on the baffles of my compensators. I got that with SNS bullets using even slow burning powders. I dont get that with Blue's or Egglestons.
  10. Eggleston claims it is not HiTek, and I am inclined to agree. I do not get leading with Eggleston like I do with SNS.
  11. Palmetto now has their own that has an unconditional lifetime warranty, for $10.
  12. How does the base look on them? I bought a bunch of their 115gr cone shaped bullets several years ago and some of the bases were very rough and jagged. It made them difficult to seat without overbelling the case mouth.
  13. I run a Lyman Gen 6 and trickle to final weight on a Gempro 250. The Lyman is usually more accurate than its +/- .1gr tolerance, but I am anal; I trickle to .01 of a grain. It isn't a fast process.
  14. The primers look a bit high, but they look a bit like a squib primer does. When the primer detonates it backs out of the pocket, and when the powder burns it shoves the case back against the breach face which reseats the primer. When that is done with extra violence it flattens the primer. When done with extreme excess pressure the primer cup will expand into any void it can, such as the firing pin hole and the chamfer around the primer pocket. Your loads may be low enough pressure that it is not fully reseating the primers, and if that is the case then you don't have anything to worry about.
  15. Jake is the man. I have purchased tens of thousands of bullets from him.
  16. Holosun HS507C. Up to 100,000 hour battery life.
  17. A brooder lamp like this should work well.
  18. I have never used it, but I have been looking at it. Is that $200 shipped?
  19. Pulled down WC844 can be had for $245 shipped for 16lbs. It is basically H335.
  20. Corn cob with a squirt of Frankford Arsenal brass polish and a couple of caps of Iso-heat. The Iso-heet really works fast to help clean the cases.
  21. I have large hands and I put a long flat in my CK and love it.
  22. BTW, my CK has a short throat, but I load the PD JHP to 1.155" and the profile is very similar to the RMR TCFP.
  23. Not from my experience. 8.8gr is a big dose of 3n38 and thats what it took with a 124gr PD JHP to make 170pf. It is a full case, but 3n38 compresses ok. I dont think it is possible to compress enough 3n38 in 9mm to blow up your gun. The issue you may find is that you get comp leading with the exposed base.
