Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. hey thanks for all the info! I guess I will order a calibration kit from wolf and give the lighter springs a try
  2. So I have a P320 with a spinger precision guide rod and a 14lb recoil spring that I'm trying to get running for USPSA Carry Optics. I currently am shooting 115 gr reloads at just over 1100 fps (have bout 200 rounds I do know 124 gr is better and will switch to it) What have you all found works good for a 9mm load and recoil spring for minimal recoil? my length is 1.160 if thats important.
  3. Started with Limited made mid C, but because of my weird astigmatism in one eye near sighted in the other I couldnt consistently shoot with both eyes open (my left eye would take focus even though Im right eye dominant) so I switched to open so I could keep both eyes open, made B. But shooting open feels like relearning everything, the comp sometimes makes me feel like Ill never get used to it. Not giving up on it just yet, but will prolly toy around with CO
  4. The 320 is, same with the 320x5 which is cut for an optic.....the RX is just a 320 with an optic
  5. So I recently bought s 320RX and ordered the advanced apex trigger. I plsn on using near floor loads. (floor being 125pf) does anyone have any suggestions on spring weight to use with 115 125pf loads? Also does anyone have any experience with say a tungsten guide rod for a p330, is it worth it? Any suggestions welcome!
  6. I have been shooting an open CZ for about half a year now, sometimes I scream through stages at A class speeds and accuracy, other times I can barely make my 2nd shot hit the D zone. I realized I had to change my grip style as I couldn't lock out as I would traditionally do with a 1911 or I'd fight the recoil far too much and always drop my second shot low. This helped, and got me into B class (just barely) but my grip still often feels off and the gun feels wrong while shooting it. My bullet build is pretty on point. 115gr 9mm around 1500fps. I dry fire often and try to live fire 2x per week. for some reason I cannot get the way I hold the gun right or consistent and feel right every time. Any suggestion besides tight wrist, loose shoulders and elbows or any tricks to train yourself to be more relaxed when firing?
