  1. 135 is my standard load. My early M&P pro will not stabilize a 147. That is how I ended up at 135. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I load anything without a step. SB brass will occasionally deform a primer, but everything else goes bang without drama. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Do not give up on USPSA though. I had a foot/ankle injury that went on for 2 years. I shot many matches in a boot and almost every one for two years limping from place to place. Totally enjoyed it even though I was not very competitive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It really depends on your local club. Some setup stages where the physically fit have a major advantage. Leaning around barricades or squatting/kneeling for low ports will probably be your biggest issues. For low ports run the course so they are last if possible, this way you will not be on the clock when getting up. For tighter leans you may just have to step over the fault lines and take the penalties. You can still have a great amount of fun IMO. I often see those who are not so focused on performance enjoy the day the most. If you have a bad initial experience try the same match on a different squad, each squad at local matches seem to have their own personality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Factoring in pricing, I prefer plated over jacketed or coated. I do not have any accuracy issues with Berry’s. I also shoot plenty of coated bullets (Bayou mostly) but prefer plated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. This is how I do it as well. Works every time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Learning primer feel on the 650 is awesome. I can pull rounds that have worn primer pockets based on the feel of how the primer seats. When I get around to disassembling the round I can usually remove the primer by hand using a metal punch. My 1050 seats on the down stroke. The ability to detect primer pocket issues is lost. I only use the 1050 for 223 due to the crimp removal feature. Otherwise I prefer the 650. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The syntax of the answers is super important now. One character out of place and your correct answer is marked wrong. Watch this specifically on the appendix questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. There are several good videos on YouTube on the setup of this die. It does take many small adjustments to get it just right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ultimately you need to read actual state laws available on all states web sites. There are many websites that summarize state laws but there could be errors or they may be a few days/weeks/months behind recent changes in laws. One small error on their part and your life as you know it could change forever. But to answer your question. Here are a few: https://www.nraila.org/gun-laws/state-gun-laws/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_the_United_States_by_state https://www.gunstocarry.com/gun-laws-state/ And do not bring an 11rd mag to a 10rd state. 12. I guess I expect this to happen. USPSA seems to never leave things as they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Western boots are deadly for me. I have several very expensive pairs but can only tolerate them for a few days a year with large recovery periods for me. Sneakers with my orthotics help the most. My issues stated in my teens and get worse every year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I was advised 26” for 6.5 creedmore and went with it it I have no idea if this is correct.
  15. People who do not give the hits when hitting a no shoot even though the perf is broken and the A hit is earned. Or on procedural per shot when there is no significant advantage. This list goes on... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Agree but maybe 70-80% of people know this local matches?
  17. 9 procedural is regularly topped on a single stage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. After my first year my heart has never been in it. But I do enjoy it. I am one of 5 who show up to setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. With the limited knowledge of ROs and the mean Spirt of some of them I never bring loaded mags on my belt to the table. My Range bag with loaded mags does go, but it is not opened in a way that an RO would be able to observe. If they try to kick me out for doing so it will be difficult for them do so. 20. You want the minimal amount of bell possible. Start with no powder on the funnel, run a used case through the primer and powder/bell station. Keep adjusting the powder station until you can see a hint of bell. If you can spot the bell from 3’ away it is far too much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Or anywhere in public for that matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I do not have much time either. I generally take two days off work in the winter to load ammo for the year. Then attend non sanctioned Saturday morning matches at a low turnout range. We are done by 11 most of the time. There is no practice or travel to larger matches, ever. Far from ideal but you have to make the best of things. It works for me at this time.
  23. Keeping your hands warm during reset is key and those tubes don’t help much in that regard. I stick hand warmers inside a pair of good gloves. I also make sure I bring my tape gun and a stylus for the tablet so my hands do not have to come out of the gloves unless I’m shooting. Walking and staying active during resets helps a great deal over standing still or sitting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It is certainly possible. I tumble and sift outside for this reason. I also wear a mask during the sifting phase. Shooting at indoor ranges is also a possibility if you do a lot of that. Eating finger foods at matches can also contribute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Another vote for Target Sports USA for cheap factory ammo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
