  1. My local private range was closed this week. I Don’t agree with it at all, a busy weekday would have maybe 6 shooters at any one time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don’t have my notes where I am but I am 90% sure I use a large pistol plate with one washer when loading 300blk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Two of my local matches are now canceled until April. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Not yet. But I am sort of expecting it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Shooting a match at an indoor range where you are down range of the shooting booths is not something I will do. Did it once and could tell it was bad juju. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Floaters usually refer to a medical condition of the eye. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The primer issue would not be a bench related stability issue. The case feeding issues the OP mentioned very likely are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Fully agree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I wouldn’t do it if you have to take possession of your luggage during the layover and then pass back through security. If you don’t you should be good to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. A local club uses an small pancake air compressor and air chisel to install the spikes. With a long heavy extension cord and long air hose they can reach all the bays from a couple of outlets. Works well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I had nothing but good experience with STIs and their service. I still own several and would certainly buy again. I am not a fan of their current direction though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I just screwed my to my bench without needing to do anything special. I am not clear on why it would need to overhang off the front of the bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The move to 8rd guns was what stopped me from shooting revolver. No interest in buying a new rig. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I dont know what the spring length or weight should be, so there is no direct test that I know of. Process of elimination would be the next best option. If you have set the adjustment properly, ruled out binding with a dirty feed ramp, shell plate timing/indexing or out of spec brass there isn’t much left other than that spring. You can also pull the spring, stretch it a bit and reinstall it. If things improve temporarily then it’s likely the spring. I would expect that to be a very temporary fix though. 15. For me it was the spring under the sled that was worn. But the adjustments for the sled are a strong possibility. There are two. The manual covers proper adjustment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. My 15-22 was not reliable enough to use in competition due to extraction issues. My CMMG is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. At the same price I prefer plated over coated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. That is what I would do, but can’t say it is the correct thing to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. My press does this only when loading 40 with the bearing mod. Removing the bearing and double washer solves it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I never ever notice how the shooter before me shoots or the two after I shoot. For the shooter before me my mind is on the stage plan. For the two after I am loading mags, eating/drinking or using the restroom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That is defiantly not normal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Any time I spent more than $20 to shoot a match I felt ripped off. Many of my local non USPSA matches are $10 so even when I pay $20 for a sanctioned match I feel a little taken advantage of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. All my tightgroup Pistol loads pickup a minimum of 150fps out of a 16” barrel. They also pickup quite a bit in an 8” sbr. I have never tested a 12” barrel to see if it is faster than a 16” but I doubt it would be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I don’t like grease at all for a semi auto pistol. I do like standard Mobile 1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
