sweet!!! can't wait to hear some "in the field" reviews of these. I have a 5MOA arriving on Friday for my Shadow 2 as well. You used the RDS 'RMR' plate I'm guessing (hoping as that's what I have in waiting)

I use TTI/Springer Precision on mine have had zero problems with them

if I was just going to sue this for USPSA I would probably be good with the 2.5 but I shoot more steel matches these days than USPSA and I have been running the Venom 6MOA this vs the venom 3moa last summer and I found that I like the 6 more , a 5moa should be quite usable for both disciplines

just ordered one from midway, cancelled with euroOptics, for some reason they are not getting theirs for another 4-6 weeks I'll need one for my M&P rig as well (if they work out to be all that we hope them to be) I'll pick up another one then in the fall

just checked in with EuroOptics , they are saying it may be another 5 weeks before they get them in 5mao. Looks like maybe Trijicon is addressing some of the reported issues? hopefully? I was really hoping to get to use it this season, but it's not looking good

same here , I go back and forth with mine , it was a bit of $$ but I like the option of doing that on the fly with the same lower.

our reloads are flat nose 147 Ibejiheads and the syntech 150's shoot very similar to what we've been making. Target has them, and they are kind of expensive but I'm slowly building a stockpile of them as those federal primers are very consistent (we use CCi primers). I like them for match ammo at my USPSA matches

vortex Viper, Jpoint/Shield mini sight are 2 that I know sit very low

I have a 5MOA on preorder here for my Shadow 2 and I intend to replace the Vortex Venom 6MOA that's on there now with it. I use my S2 for both USPSA and steel matches. Not many people have them here yet either so we are all for the most part ordering without first seeing it in person. what size dot are you used to?

I went with 5moa as the Venom I have on there now is a 6 and I like it, it works well for USPSA and For Steel now if I could just actually get an SRO

I try to live fire 2x a week. usually 2-300 rounds per session. I am involved with a group of guys that love to shoot steel and we have our own targets that we are allowed to set up at our range , so we end up shooting steel challenge stages a lot more often than I like. only 2 of us in the group shoot USPSA , so doing Bill drills or double tap drills is like pulling teeth with those that don't shoot USPSA. Shooting steel stages is always fun , but it's a completely different game. So this season I'm focusing on doing a lot more dry firing drills and seeing how that helps , finding time to go out and focus on USPSA specific drills has been tough this year so far

same here , EuorOptics and trijicon have told me that they are overrun with back orders, expect end of July early august delivery. I've had mine on pre orde with euroOptics for about a month now

I use a KKM in mine , it's been issue free and plenty accurate. I use mine in CO and you cannot have a ported barrel in CO, it throws you into Open

well several guys is kind of an overstatement, the majority of the negative feedback is coming from the "friend" of the same guy that posted here having problems on his X-5 I wouldn't jump ship quite that quickly, Trijicon is good about fixing problems when they exist

it's pretty amazing you even caught this. Anyone ever check their RMR's to see if this happens with those as well? At what distance are you zeroing this thing ? I thought these were made on the same platform as the RMR. Having one on order as well, this is concerning

I switched the mag release on my S2 over (I'm also left handed) I heated up the screw first and pushed down like a mother while unscrewing and it actually came out with not all that much difficulty .

I have one of these on order for my shadow 2, I'm really hoping I don't have any issues like this with it.
