  1. Interesting! It’s definitely different, but makes a lot of sense.
  2. Well, that at least helps in knowing that something didn’t happen to my powder. Wonder what it could be..
  3. Hello everyone, Been using Alliant for about a year now and today I just noticed there are brown flakes in my power. Not a lot but enough to notice. Anyone Have any insight on what it is? First time I’ve noticed it.
  4. Check out Springer Precision. I run them for production but i know they have some CO legal ones as well.
  5. Check brownells or midway. They usually have it.
  6. This is about as good as it gets right here!
  7. I have one of the midway range bags and it is quite nice. Plenty Fi space, plenty of pockets. Just all around nice bag and not too terribly expensive!
  8. A lot of people I have talked say if you come to this decision to always go big. This isn’t just for the 1050, but even if you are thinking 650 to 550 that you should always go bigger than you think you need and it will work out just fine.
  9. All within the rules now. Seems like there isn’t much you can’t do in Production the days..
  10. Big fan of Talon on my production gun. Seems like no better option for polymer. Other than trying to stipple the gun yourself.
  11. I see a lot of people use Springer precision and that is what I just ordered for my Shadow 2. Overall nice basepad and fairly cheap as well
  12. +1 for anyone who said boombah hellcats! ran a pair this entire season (4-5 matches a month) and they show no signs of wear! may be able to get another season out of them!
  13. I have never taken powder out of my press. Just run it until its empty and fill it back up. I jus throw a towel over my press when I'm not using it, but other than that nothing special.
  14. Welcome! glad to have you and hope you stay a while!
  15. Welcome! You are in for a wild ride that is for sure. I bought my 550 a little over a year ago and it was a rough go at first. Since I have settled in and have everything set up perfectly. Now its time to turn and burn! Good luck in your adventure!
  16. Have my setup in the garage as well and live in SoCal. Every once in a while I will get some rusting, but it's pretty normal here. I just take everything apart and clean it when I start to see signs of rust. Other than that just keep a towel over my press when I am not using it. At most you could look into a dehumidifier, but I don't think its absolutely necessary.
  17. Plus 1 (or however many now) for Blue Bullets. Although, been wanting to try some Gallant Bullets.
  18. Been running SP for about a year now and haven't had any issues. 3.2 grains with a 147 Blue Bullet for 130pf every single time. Shooting out of a G34 but just purchased a Shadow 2. I don't see my load changing too much but hoping the consistency and cleanliness stays!
  19. been absolutely loving the Sport Pistol. Been loading 147gr blue bullets over 3.2 grains of sp out of a G34 for a calm 130pf.
  20. Honestly, never paid attention to what's inside the cup. have used Winchester since the beginning and haven't had any issues since iv been using them. Any issues have been caused because of my own accord.
  21. https://www.walmart.com/ip/CRC-Heavy-Duty-Silicone-Lubricant-11-Wt-Oz/16817419?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=2494&adid=22222222227000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=42423897272&wl4=pla-51320962143&wl5=9031302&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=16817419&wl13=2494&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQiA28nfBRCDARIsANc5BFD7_yzTvA5ZeszUrZVW2Vf9KFu047ToBjdwXvdCbPLAI112nk48ntIaAu50EALw_wcB This is my personal favorite to use. basically, take apart all of your mags and then spray the outside and take a paper towel and wipe off the excess. I then spray a paper towel and wipe the inside of my magwell along with the inside of each mag holder on my belt. Mags are easy to maneuver and drop right out of my G34
  22. https://www.brownells.com/magazines/handgun-magazines/magazine-parts/magazine-extension/small-black-sku642000001-9519-23531.aspx?sku=642000001 I have used these and really like them. Plus for only $15 you cant go wrong. Just shot an area match and everything was within the guidelines for USPSA production!
  23. I personally have had absolutely zero issues with factory barrels and coated bullets. I have not had any bad experience as far as accuracy, malfunctions or anything. I personally see no need to waste money on an aftermarket barrel, but that is just me.
  24. I know it's been said, but I highly recommend the boss setup from ben stoeger pro shop. Been running that for quite a while and have absolutely zero complaints!
  25. A lot is personal preference, seems like LOK has quite the reputation in this game. The hard part then becomes texture as people have all said that bogies and the checkered are about neck and neck.
