  1. Thanks for the fast replies. Worked up a load at 1.100 w/ 3.7 gr in my CZ Shadow that made factor easily.
  2. Seen a great deal of varying data in the reloading forum. Anybody have a good starting point for this combo? OAL=1.090. Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks xd! Was beginning to think I wouldn't get any replies. I'll look him up straight away.

    Hammers - Production

Copy all Twowheels. I'm running the stock shadow hammer and planning on upgrading to the low CZC. Before I buy I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an inherent advantage to one or the other. Thanks for the info!

    Shadow 2 grips

Also in GA, what's the name of the dealer in SC? Lok grips +1, have a pair on my Shadow 1.
  6. Good posture & a strong core/shoulders in daily life translate to good posture & shoulder position during a match i have found. Reducing shoulder slouch in everyday life pay dividends quickly. Just an opinion, but one that has worked significantly well for me.
  7. G2G In my humble opinion...but nothing offends me.
  8. You are not your body, your body is a machine. Your body responds to input and adapts to the inputs your give it. This is my mindset when trying to overcome the physical challenges of shooting (e.g. grip, stance, faster reloads).
  9. Thanks for the tread. Same boat as OP, looks like some MOA parts are in my future!
  10. Everything breaks eventually. Extra parts & fix-it know how save me from a lot of worry.
  11. gorgeous revolver! Best of luck finishing the job.
  12. Grease if not shooting/cleaning a great deal (e.g. EDC). Oil for hi-round count/highly cleaned guns. I don't want grime sticking to anything during a match and oil seems to be the best fit for this application.
  13. I'm sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you, but I shoot comp with several XDM 5.25 users and each of them seem to experience this issue a least one a match. I've heard them discuss the same thing, that maybe they're just riding the gun high and causing he malfunction. I've even loaned out a G34 to one of them during a match when he lost faith in his weapon. Coincidence...maybe not.
  14. Even though you aren't worrying about it, the answer to your question is that flaws in NIB/NF guns should be free of flaws. Maybe a the odd one out here, but when I chose to spend a significant portion of money on a new firearm or part, I want it to be as close to perfection as possible. If nothing else, having a doubt about any newly purchased firearm part from the get-go would bug me for the remainder of its service life. Glad it all worked out for you!
  15. Curious about your end result. I've put 15k rounds through both my G34's with no issues. I break them down completely after each match so if the pins were going to be lose I assume it would have happened by now. Moreover, they were purchased nearly 2 years apart so it's not like I just bought both from a "good" batch. If Glock can't help, I know there are several companies selling aftermarket pins and would wonder if the diameter of said pins is any larger than stock. Maybe a fix if nothing else works.
  16. +1 on ordering the extra springs before installation. Cheap and easy way to save yourself hours of frustration if something goes wrong.
  17. I've found small local businesses (not necessarily gun related) are more than happy to plaster their name around a stage. From craft breweries to leather workers, we never seem to have to look far for stage sponsors.
  18. Mid-pack club shooter who owns all the top gear, competes in every match in the region yet never seems to show improvement, and always seems to force himself into conversations though uninvited to explain why you're not meeting your potential. or The guy that questions EVERY RO call that doesn't work to his favor.
