  1. Ain’t that the truth! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You can use a frame mounted dot in Carry Optics? I thought it had to be slide mounted? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. This is what I think my plan is... did you need to drop slide weight for USPSA Carry Optics with your S2? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Only plan to shoot 9 minor from it. If I start shooting USPSA again I’ll look for something more appropriate for that sport.
  5. Looks like $160 plus ~$20 shipping. 4 week turnaround. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Never considered it... any recommendations on a mount and who to install it? I’m in DFW area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That looks great.... how much for the cut if you don’t mind me asking? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Already own the Shadow and mags... any suggestions on where to send for slidework/optic choice? Leaning towards an SRO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’ve owned a few STIs (DVC 3-gun, Edge, etc) and they were great shooters. I just always felt I performed equally as well with the Shadow2. I don’t want to spend $5k on some of these truly custom guns... I just won’t shoot it enough to feel it’s worth the price tag. I do realize there is a difference... just few it’s negligible for my 2x / month competition shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Should mention I’m looking to stick with 9mm minor for 3 gun and steel games. Not concerned with USPSA OR IDOA rules / scoring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Budget is relative, I’m looking for the best value, hence shooting a Shadow 2 for TacOps. Recently decided I was done quad loading and bought a VR80. Now looking to take full advantage of open rules. Full upgrade or just add the dot to my Shadow 2? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Another benefit to the Glock over others is cheap mags! Plenty of aftermarket parts that can make the trigger and sights better than factory. Another option is find a 2nd hand CZ Shadow II or SP-01 shadow. I picked one up for $850 recently and it’s like new.... loving the extra weight and balance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Bit of a mess, and a small setup for now, but it fits in my office and keeps me from having to go to the garage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The 55gr wolf bullets are widely used and good quality. Not sure why these would be any different. I say go for it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Good advice, thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks! Will check them out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My biggest problem is with my pistol mag pouches... if I want them to be at the same height, there is a pretty wide gap between each female ELS Mount. To mount them closer, I need to stagger the height. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Which do you prefer and why? I currently have an ELS setup and like the fact that you can switch attachments without having to remove the belt, but part of me thinks Techloks would be better stages like all shotgun where you can really customize the position of all your shell holders. 19. Any snowboard binding and strap will work just fine... generally you can get 2 for the price of 1 name brand belt solution. Choice of color and length are endless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome! Just left NJ for Texas... can’t say I’m upset about it... keep up the fight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Best of luck! my advice.... shoot what you have and have fun Go slow until you’re comfortable Wait to buy gear until you know what you want Don’t buy cheap gear, it will only cost you more a few months later when you upgrade If you’re in the North Texas area by chance, I’m happy to introduce you to some of my new friends I’ve met shooting down here... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I was just at Home Depot today... they had butcher block... about $200 for 10ft x 25”. They had smaller sizes as well (pic of 50in for $96). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Right after I rob a bank [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That’s exactly what I don’t want... I want the transition between rifles to remain natural. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
