Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Appreciate the feedback from everyone. Have found a buyer locally at a price point I thought was fair. Happy shooting! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
  2. I bought a Predator Tactical Scarab 4 years ago, and shot it for a while. Then I moved and deployed and now know that Matt was indicted. Does anyone still shoot these pistols or is mine now worth less than a glock?
  3. Did some testing with it already. No issues at max magnification. Could probably see 308 holes at 300 meters on a good day. Was looking at some mountains more than a mile away and would have easily been able to identify deer size animals. Guessing I'd be able to see rack size at well over 600/700 meters. The 27-60 has an 85mm objective. I think the original 20-60's had a smaller objective. Let me know anything else I can help with! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
  4. What info can I assist with on the vortex? Don't know anything about the other 2. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
  5. I started shooting USPSA with a 5" ppq. Worked great, but wanted a heavier pistol for less muzzle flip. Even with handloads the flip was more than I wanted.
  6. I've got 10 round 40 cal MBX mags. They work flawlessly.
  7. You can always shoot limited 10 like those stuck out in Cali. Get you the best of both worlds!
  8. I just got the 27-60 angled last week. Took it out to the range this weekend, was pleased. Was great for tracking steel. No major issues on paper at 100 meters as I worked my load development.
  9. I've always been partial to the Wilson Combat drop in triggers. Just hammer the two pins into your lower and you're good to go.
  10. The Vortex Razor HD Gen 1 comes in right under your budget of 2k. I've got it on my precision rifle and no complaints.
  11. The Sig 2400 has most of the ballistic stuff built in. They did testing on long range hunting, and the results were nearly identical (within 0.1 mrad) when using a kestrel and another ballistic app.
  12. Use lag bolts for construction when possible. Use screws rather than nails when able as well. Will help when you need to take it apart and move it somewhere. If you use nails, it's going to be ruined if you ever have to take it apart.
  13. I just use the lee undersized sizing die to get rid of any bulge on my 40 reloads.
  14. You can buy the "upgrade kit" from Taran Tactical. I changed out all my springs/followers/basepads with taran stuff.
  15. Hello shooters. Active duty military and stuck out here in California. Long time forum stalker, first time poster. Waiting on my shadow 2 to get in! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
