cajun gun works has the regular shadow in stock for mil/lea few days ago

Looked the other day an didn’t see any.   Emailed after your post and Kelly from CGW said they just sold both yesterday.  Damn.

There are several (sku 91251) on Gb in the $1,500 - $1,600 range; have to add sales tax (if you are in a sales tax state) and the Gb fee of 1% to that number.

Yeah, kinda why I’m trying to take advantage of the discount.

  2. Looking to make the switch to the Shadow 2.  I’d really like to pick up the OR Shadow 2, but I’d settle for the non-optic ready at this point.

Does anyone know of a LE dealer with any in stock currently?

I’ve called half a dozen dealers without any luck, so I figured someone here might have a lead on a dealer.

I agree; similar situation here.  After chemo and radiation treatment, I was shot (not literally, but it felt like it) for many months.

I've since returned to the sport and I RO at level 1, but I really don't want to pay to sit through the course again.

Well, I emailed Troy right after this post and he replied back with the long version of the online.

I was working mandatory 80+hr weeks for 2020 into this year.  I just didn’t have time to think about much else.

I’m glad he gave me the opportunity to retest and I plan on working/RO’ing my area match come the time.

It has to be lapsed for a while before you can't recertify online.

😎 If you have been expired for more than six months, you'll need to take the long version of the exam as per NROI policy. The system will notify you of this, and you will have to contact dnroi@uspsa.org to have your exam reset.  Officials expired for more than a year may be required to take the seminar again. Keeping your NROI work history current may help in this regard.

Note that the above says you *may* be required to take the seminar again if you have been expired more than a year. You may well not be required, especially if you have worked alot of area matches. I would contact Troy and/or your local RMI who has worked with you.

Out here in the west most of us were more involved than ever (and shot and traveled more than ever) over the last 18 months.

Well, I read that and figured it was lapsed for a year so I was SOL.

Worth an email to NROI I guess.

    thanks.

  5. I’d like to re-cert to help out at my area match again next year, but my certification lapsed over the past 18months due to not being involved because of covid and all.

If I could do it online again, I’d do it, but not interested in paying to sit through that class again.  I just won’t be able to RO my area match I guess.

  6. I would probably just shoot the 17 in limited for now, until you get the hang of the sport and figure out what you really want to do.  They skills learned over that time period will transfer to anything you decide on.

    (B class Production shooting a G17)

  7. I’m in the same boat.  Looking to play around in another division and it would be the same platform......for now.

Used a a dot for the first time this week while practicing.  That wasn’t so easy.  Haha.  I think the grip angle of the Sig with the Romeo tripped me up a bit.

Hitting those 25 yard alpha head boxes was pretty fun though.

  8. I rocked a edc belt, double mag holder and my G19 for the first couple matches.    Look and ask, people are very willing to give advice and let you see what they run.

I’m using a shooters connection belt, cr speed mag holders with my bladetech holster now.  (Think I’m upgrading to the boss hanger very soon)

  9. I have a bunch of 10rd glock mags, being that I’m from CT and we have dumb gun laws.

I have a handful of STANDARD capacity mags and it finally dawned on me that reloads went much better with the 17 rounders loaded to ten than the 10rd mags.

The 10 rounders springs are so damn tight that you really have to slam that mag in to mag sure it catches.

Anyone cut one down to alleviate this issue, while obviously keeping the mag reliable?

  10. ‘B’ class Production shooter, but always considering moving to another division when I’m not shooting.  Only been at this for 2 years, so I think I’ll stick with it.  I’m shooting for that ‘M’ with my G17.

Everyone bought into the CZ Shadow for Production, so I stuck with my G17.

Doesn’t mean I won’t shoot another division once in a while.

  11. Got some Ibejiheads .357 dia on the way.   They made it the easiest to order, plus they sponsor some of the matches I attend.

    Thanks for all the feedback.

Edit:   I didn’t realize Alex was the owner.  We squaded together at Area 7 last year.  Good dude.
