  1. How much work if any is needed to fit a Nitro Fin in a Pro Match?
  2. I bought a new hard chrome MAC 3011 in .40. I put maybe a thousand rounds through it before the plunger tube broke off of the frame. I took it to a gunsmith he said that someone had drilled the inside of the frame and that the frame didn't have enough meat for the plunger tube to be staked. I sent it off to an Eagle Imports warranty gunsmith and he said the same. I'm now waiting for them to send me a replacement. I've been waiting about two months with no estimate of a delivered replacement. I bought a RIA Pro Match .40 while I wait. The thing runs like a champ.
  3. I bought a MAC 3011 hard chrome .40 in December of last year for about $950 to get myself started in USPSA Limited. Mind you I am the original owner and have never felt the need to drill the inside frame of any of my pistols. Eagle Imports said they would replace it for me and that would be about 6-8 weeks, that was early May and now they're telling me they don't have any idea when they'll have a replacement for me. Honestly, I liked the pistol quite a bit, it was pretty, had a nice trigger, excellent fit and finish, and handled well but it wasn't worth the money I "saved" to be out a pistol indefinitely. To anybody who is thinking about buying one of these do yourself a favor and get a Rock Island Pro Match, CZ Tactical Sport, Tanfo Limited. Literally anything else.
  4. That's very funny I also started to have problems again after a couple of matches after bending the factory extractor and switched to an Aftec, I had to take the forward most spring out of it, it was creating so much tension rounds did not want to fit between it and the breechface. It's fine now but I don't know if it's the Arredondo mag spring not being strong enough so I want to switch over to MBX's just to make sure I have every base covered.
  5. I was having the same problem with my Pro Match so after reading this thread I bent my extractor to apply more tension and the gun is running at 100% now. I'm running ACT Para P16 mag tubes with Dawson +4 base pads and Arredondo extended mag springs for 20 reloadable. I love my Pro Match. It's the best value competition pistol you can get for ~$820 IMO but it's sucks having a problem like this. If it wasn't for this thread I would have been messing with my mags for the next two weeks.
