I bought a MAC 3011 hard chrome .40 in December of last year for about $950 to get myself started in USPSA Limited. I put maybe a thousand rounds through it before the plunger tube broke off of the frame. I took it to a gunsmith he said that someone had drilled the inside of the frame and that the frame didn't have enough meat for the plunger tube to be staked. I sent it off to an Eagle Imports warranty gunsmith and he said the same. Mind you I am the original owner and have never felt the need to drill the inside frame of any of my pistols. Eagle Imports said they would replace it for me and that would be about 6-8 weeks, that was early May and now they're telling me they don't have any idea when they'll have a replacement for me. Honestly, I liked the pistol quite a bit, it was pretty, had a nice trigger, excellent fit and finish, and handled well but it wasn't worth the money I "saved" to be out a pistol indefinitely. To anybody who is thinking about buying one of these do yourself a favor and get a Rock Island Pro Match, CZ Tactical Sport, Tanfo Limited. Literally anything else.
