Guy's/Gal's
I have always wanted a CZ75 but with my smaller hands I was not sure that one would fit me very well. I never ever see one at my LGS, so I never ordered one. Not too long ago I walked in and there was a Bay Eagle sitting on the shelf in 40 cal. I really do not care for the 40 cal. but I got to feel the pistol and it fit pretty well. I had my LGS order me one (baby eagle in 9mm).
What I was not aware of was that there was a new style. Instead of being made by Jericho the new Baby Eagle III is made by BUI. Nice pistol, but the grip is a little bigger unlike the Jericho made Baby Eagle. The III grip goes all the way around the back of the grip frame. Another thing is they have Novak sights on the new III model.
When shooting the Baby Eagle III and I have found out that I am not the only person to have this problem. The Pistol Shoots low and a tad to the right. No it is not me I have several pistols and do not have sighting or firing problems with them. I did drift the front sight over to the right a bit and it shoots to center but still shooting low at 25 yards. I have to aim at the top of the targets to hit the steel plates. Other than that it is a very well made pistol.
I have had the pistol for three weeks now and just keep going back and forth with it. I finally made the decision to take it back to my LGS and trade it in for a CZ75 SP-01Tactitcal model. I hope the LGS can get me one. I want the SP-01 due to the rail under the dust guard and the de-cocker. I really prefer the de-cocker safety but they do not make a full dusk cover with the Rail and de-cocker safety option that I could find.
That is ok I will loose some money on the trade in but I will have an official CZ and one of the best shooters out there.
Whish me luck, I did not find too many videos on YouTube about the Tactical Models.
I waited approx. 2 weeks and Well Guy's/Gal's
I called CZ USA today to see how long the wait would be for my LGS to get me a CZ75 SP-01 Tactical. They told me they were getting shipments in every 2 to 3 Months and right now they had back orders for at least 8 months and filling them on a first come first serve basis. Not good. I just went and picked up my payment on the one the LGS had on order and bought the last one that was on GunBroker. I will pay them tomorrow after putting the money in my Internet account.
So the search is over, now just to pay for it tomorrow and the shipping wait begins. Cost me a little more but at least I have one coming now.
