    9mm minor load

3.7. I have not tested velocity. Runs good in my 34.
  2. Thanks for the responses. I will use eisenhow load data and drop the powder charge down to about 3.0 to start and go up from there.

  4. Hello, i could use use a little help with some load data please. I plunk test and the longest I can get with a standard Glock 34 barrel is 1.09. I can’t seem to find any load data for that short of an OAL. I will be using hp-38 powder and federal primers. I’m really can’t believe I have to go that short to get it to plunk. These bullets are .663 average length, so loading them that short doesn’t leave much room for powder. Thanks in advance.
  5. So I tried out 3 grains and 3.3 grains. The load with 3 grains functioned the gun but the brass barely dribbled out. At 3.3 grains the brass flew an acceptable distance, everything seemed to function fine. I will probably 3.5 grains just to see how the accuracy potential would be. I only have about 50 or so of these left and I probably will not buy them again.
  6. Thanks for you help, lots of great info. Not sure, still need to buy a chronograph.
  7. Sorry wrong wording. The chamber on my CZ will not allow me to load any longer. It fails the plunk test any longer than 1.07.
  8. Hello Gents, I'm shooting a CZ sp-01 shadow and looking for a little help with load data. 124 grain berry target hollow point 1.065 3.3 grain titegroup I was a little concerned about how short i have to load this in my gun, any longer than 1.07 it fails the plunk test. On hogdon's website it says 3.6 grains at 1.15. I definitely want to be on the cautious side of things.
  9. I had the same concerns when I received mine from them as well. I even contacted them and sent pictures of the issue. They confirmed that this was normal and not a concern. I have around 1000 rounds without issue. Just go and shoot it, soon you will forget its like that. I would recomened putting lock tite on both ends of the guide rod retaining screws. I had an issue with mine coming apart and the middle piece of the rod abandoned ship through the front of the gun.
