  1. Again, not knowing the soda stream bottles.... is it possible that they have an internal regulator that only allows so much pressure out? The way the trainer is "charged" it can only ever be equal to the pressure coming out of the "filler" bottle. If it is low pressure then you would only get a couple of shots before it gets week. If the bottle is empty or close to empty, same thing. Coolfire tech support is pretty good. I would reach out to them.
  2. I have never used the soda stream tanks so I don't know how the fittingis oriented on that bottle. Is he holding the tank so that it is upside down when he fills it?
  3. What type of CO2 tank is he using? He gets 4 shots and then has to refill the barrel before he can get 4 more shots? Make sure he is using CO2 and not air. If using CO2. Fill the barrel and listen for leaks. Could be a seal needs to be replaced or a fitting isn't tight.
  4. I did manage to find a long slide. Don't think they have it available with an optic cut yet. The long slides only get produced every now and then. Hopefully the next batch the run will include an optic cut.
  5. To pile on, I have been running it since it came out. It doesn't seem to group quite as tight as standard off the shelf ammo but still great for competition use and the recoil difference is very noticeable. Very clean burning as well.
  6. Does anyone have one of these on their TSO or 97B? https://czcustom.com/czc-97b-picatinny-accessory-rail.html If you do and are using a light, what light are you using? Are the light controls comfortable or do they seem to low?
  7. So going this route, did they bill your insurance company directly or did your insurance company issue you a check and then you pade HoH?
  8. Hoping to pick one of these up myself in the very near future for limited major.
  9. Hey guys & gals, One of the ranges I shoot at is having a HK only USPSA match. I will post more details as they become available. I shot it last year and we had a pretty good turn out. Everyone walks away with a prize and it was fun meeting a bunch of other HK guys and gals. 2nd annual HK or HK VP match as of now will be set for April 4th at Owensboro Rifle & Pistol Club Inc. Located in Lewisport KYIt will be a LVL1 USPSA. Looking at 5 field stages with 2-3 classifiers
  10. I knew ETS was going to have mags available but I have not seen any in person... Do they suck? if so, what is the issue with them?
  11. For the ultimate in round count MBX. I have a couple of the PR9 magazines with Taylor Freelance extensions and they have worked well for me.
  12. Right now I am using a Crossbreed holster with my 365. It is a 2 clip holster. It works great but would love a more compact holster. I really like the look of some of the single clip holsters I see in this thread. My question is, Do they stay in place? Or shift around? I am often climbing up and down ladders, in attic & crawl spaces and upside down in cabinets :). Want something that will stay where I put it.
  13. Looks like we are finally getting the VP9 Optics Ready pistol along with some 17 round magazines. Now if I could just get a long slide version.
  14. Bringing this back up, I see one person doesn't recommend the Springer magwell. Are there any others that don't require the short grips?
  15. I have been looking at getting a TSO in .40 for limited major. Stock, out of the box would you guys recommend the AO1-LD or the TSO? I'm just a middle of the pack shooter typically although this year I am striving to do better and have been dry-fire practicing every night along with a weekly trip to the range.
  16. At the moment I have him shooting a M&P 22 that is suppressed to help keep him from flinching. He has no issues racking it back but the gun seems to have "bad days" when it just doesn't like to function properly.
  17. So, last fall I was shooting USPSA with my sig X5. Liminted Minor - Yeah i know.... I like a challenge. Anyways, I had just gotten a new holster from my holster buddy. I've used his holsters for a while. Just needed a new one to accomdate the match weight and *thumb rest [generic]* setup. Well, first stage I draw from holster, fire first shot, magazine falls to ground. I just stood there like WTF!!!!! Then finally reloaded and finished the course. Turns out the new holster had a defect in it and when gun was inserted / removed from holster the mag relase button was being brushed just hard enough to relase the mag..... Dremel tool to the rescue but the lesson here is test any new gear before the competition.
  18. While I have never worn them for shooting competitions, one of my other hobbies is refereeing competitive & adult league soccer. If it's a quality game I typically will get in 6 to 7 miles in a 90 minute game. I started wearing compressions socks under my uniform socks and it made a huge difference.
  19. For agility I like box jumps and agility ladders. To help simulate actuall completitions I load a laser bullet indicator in my shadow 2 and run through the house shooting all of the light switches and electrical outlets as they come into my line of sight. It helps that I have a second floor so I have to climb steps to go clear the rooms up there.
  20. I drop mag and put mag in pouch, pull slide and lock it back. Round hits the ground and I usually leave it for the range vultures. Drop slide and hammer when instructed to do so.
  21. Good luck up there. Maybe one day you can cross back over into the free country...
  22. Well I shouldn't have found this thread. I just got my first CZ this past year. The Shadow 2. I like it so much that I bought a second one and put the Kadet .22 conversion on it. After seeing some of the weapons in here I see I'm going to be spending a lot of money on CZ products this year.
  23. Did you ever finish this project? Would like to know how well it worked if you did.
