A few quick questions for which my goggle-fu has failed me...
Currently I have a couple of full size steel frame EAA Witnesses in 10mm.
If I purchased a steel framed compact, would the standard/full size slides fit? All would be "large frame", but I'm unsure as to length of dust cover and whatnot. The hope would be to have a compact grip/frame with a full size slide. I'm not a competition shooter, so I've no worries about "class restrictions" , ect.
Second question, will full size magazines work properly in compact frames. Akin to using G17 mags in G19?
Third question, What in the heck is "Wonder Finish"? Hard chrome?
My two Witnesses are Wonder Finish, and I'm thinking of how to have them nitrated. Since I purchased them I've grown less than fond of the appearance of the finish. Not a functional issue, just personal aesthetics.
I appreciate any help you can offer.
