I'm wanting to buy a Ruger, and really don't know anything about them, other than they seem to be very popular. The reason for the post, is one model any better than the other? I will be shooting this in steel challenge type matches, along with an informal PPC match. Any help on this is greatly appreciated, Dave.

Yeh, it’s always best to try a few, don’t load a couple hundred to find out the load doesn’t work!

I use standard small pistol primers with 4.9 of 231 with 125 gr. jacketed hollow points, no problems.

Looking at the bull barrel Tactical Sport on CZ custom, I'm not seeing the $2300 value here.

I believe Rich at Canyon Creek was doing a bushing on the EAA.

Is the bull barrel tactical sport available yet? If so, how much?

I’m getting a full stroke on the powder bar, the die is screwed all the way down, still no belling of the case mouth. Everything works fine when I load 9mm and 45, just having problems with the 38’s.

I have screwed the die down all the way to the shell plate, and I’m still not getting enough bell on the mouth of the case. I’ve checked everything on the powder measure I can, nothing is broke, and the white delrin bushing is in place.

I was just able to check on Deleon sleeve, it’s there.

The powder funnel has a 0 on it.

I load 38, 9mm, and 45.

I'm reloading 38 special wad cutters on my Dillon 550. I can't get any bell out of the 2nd. stage. I've tried adjusting the die closer to shell plate, and it hits the plate, still no bell. Please help.

My lgs has one for sale, never seen one, curious how it stacks up to other guns in the 1911 line. I’m just curious how it will perform accuracy wise? Any info on this is greatly appreciated, Dave.

I just tried using never-dull and cleaning with a soft rag is working really well.

swordfish and RePete, thanks for the heads up on the coated Bullets. I’ll have to look into both of those. I recently ordered some zero jacketed hollow points to try out. I really don’t want to buy the more expensive jacketed if I can get by with the cheaper Bullets.
