  1. Would you mind giving your load for your brass test.
  2. Sport pistol is just as good in all aspects except maybe not as clean but half the cost.
  3. Here is some BE-86 load data. All loads are with cci-500 ,Hornady brass ,124 f/p match winners from rmr. 1.082 oal These was shot out of a g-34 with Kkm barrel. 4.6 grs. 1016fps es 50 4.8 grs. 1065fps es16 5.0 grs 1095fps es20 5.2 grs. 1136fps es 29 5.4grs. 1153fps es 41 Loads below are with rmr multi purpose bullet 124 jhp. 5.5 grs 1169fps es26 with rmr 124 mpb jhp. 1.090 oal. 6.0 grs 1248fps es 33 with rmr 124 mpb jhp 1.090 oal Here is some out of a full size p-320 5.5 grs 1130 FPS es 33 124 mpb jhp 1.100 oal 6.0 grs 1204 FPS es 21 124 mpb jhp. 1.100 oal
  4. I took a old kitchen knife and heated it red hot with a propane torch worked very well ,after cutting you can work the edges and around the cut to tidy it up. For the holes I used the same method with a old Phillips screw driver. I made mine several months back and it still looking good.
  5. I was shooting the 124 gr.match winner in my shadow 2 at 1.085 oal with 4.2 grs. of sport pistol very accurate bullet /load. I bought a open gun with a comp so I switched to delta Precision with a jacketed base to keep from leading the comp another good bullet. You can’t go wrong with the match winners.
  6. Next time I buy lead bullets I may give the j-Ames bullets a try, looked at their website and they look like some good bullets.
  7. Wanting opinions on best loads 9mm for plate rack shooting. Bullet wt.? FPS? Power factor? I know to stout of loads slow you down and to weak of loads sometimes don’t knock down the plate with poor hits.
  8. Us1 this may not be your problem but it sounds like your machine is not mounted rigid enough, needs to be mounted very solid with no movement or shacking going on when you are using it.
  9. I’ve had the same problem with the die sticking.lay your brass on its side in and old cooking pan and spray it with Hornady case lube, a little will get in the case mouth which will stop the case sticking issue. This worked for me good luck.
  10. I would go with be-86 also that’s what I use for those type of loads.
  11. I’ve used 6grs of power pistol with 124 gr bullets for years, has been very accurate load in several different pistols never noticed any fire balls in that day time lol. I got some b-86 several months back and it seems just as good as power Pistol just takes a bit less of it. Both will give top end velocity.
  12. This is what I did and it’s been going strong for a year and a half maybe two years now with cci, rem.
  13. Graf and sons has some 1 pounders ,I think they was 21.95 a pound. If you got some other hazardous components to order that would help the fees. I usually buy a eight pounder and some primers when I order and that gets the price down.
  14. This is some of the better loads, all with sport pistol. I tested these loads with a 1x4 scope just for testing I now have a red dot on the rifle. Just about everything I’ve shot in it has been good enough for most applications. Everything I tested was mild loads nothing on the hot side. My ruger rifle has been outstanding zero malfunctions and very accurate.
  15. This is what I got from a Glock 21 and e-3. e-3 powder 3.6 grs cci-300 225 gr bayou flat point. 1.225 oal rem. Brass fps 757 es 82. Sd 34 Ran the same bullet and everything the same with red dot red dot 4.5 grs 799/45/20 I have been playing with e-3 in 9mm and 45 acp and so far I have been getting high extreme spreads with e-3 but j have been getting good accuracy. I have also been playing with red dot in 45 acp with 200 gr swc and 225 fp and have been getting better crony readings with good accuracy.
  16. Our cold weather don’t compare to Wisconsin’s cold but man we got some hot weather that will make you want to stay inside.
  17. I forgot to mention that I have my handle in the shortest position.
  18. Assnolax i mounted mine on a 1/4” al plate to spread the load a little about 3/8” from the edge. Haven’t heard of anybody shorting the stroke I don’t think you’ll notice 10 degrees once you start loading.
  19. Thanks for the video you have helped me learn some good info.
  20. If you are getting the sample pack go with .357 dia. That’s what I did to stop leading.
  21. Tell the welder what you wanting to do he will know the right filler material to use.
  22. I was in the same boat wanting to add something to speed up my loading on my 550. I ended up getting a used 1050 and it has been so nice it’s put the joy back into loading for me. My advice is to keep the 550 stock and save your pennies for a 650 or a 1050 with a case feeder and bullet feeder for the cal.that you shooting the most.
  23. My shadow 2 loads are. 145 r/n brazos .357 dia. 1.115 oal 3.3 grs sport pistol i used 3.2 grs for a long time and switched to 3.3 because I felt like it runs a little cleaner and I really didn’t notice much difference in the recoil. 147 f/p acme .356 dia 1.11 oal 3.3 grs sport pistol these bullets plunked at 1.13 but I got better accuracy off the lands a little at 1.11 oal. 124 gr Precision delta 1.085 4.2 grs sport pistol.
  24. Why not try lapping them together with lapping compound.
