  1. Hate to be a pain but what brand and type of parts do I need to get? I looked at cgw and they have three or four different types have not looked at czc parts yet.
  2. I got a s2 a couple weeks ago I use the gun for plate matches and range fun. I need some advice on what I need to do to it to get some creep out and drop some of the pull wt. on the trigger. The gun started out with a da of ten pounds and a sa of four pounds I changed the hammer spring to 13lb and a lighter firing pin sring also bought a 11 and 12 pound recoil spring. After the spring change i had 9 lb da and sa went 3lb 12oz was a little disappointed. Would like to have somewhere around 3-3-1/4 pound sa and about seven double without the creep. There is to much creep after the take up,this what I don't like. I been shooting glocks and sigs plastic guns last few years this my frist Cz ,have shot 1911's in the past with pretty good triggers.
  3. Wdfwguy is 3.6 burn clean? I've been shooting 3.8-4.0 gr range and those loads are doing well just been thinking of trying 3.6 to see how accurate they would be ,3.8 makes min. Power factor in my gun but I just like to play. Lol
  4. I'm loading acme 147 f/p 1.130 oal with 3.3 s/p very clean with good accuracy thur a shadow 2. Started playing with the acme 124 r/n and found that the .357 dia bullets is giving better Es and sd numbers with some improvement in accuracy. Trying to decide if I want to stick with the 147gr or go with the 124gr. I like the recoil of the 147 but I also like the faster cycle time of the 124. I guess I'll just keep playing with both till I figure it out lol. I been shooting 2-3 plate matches a month for the last four or five months and my shooting just keeps evolving for the better. I'm really enjoying the competitiveness of the matches.
  5. Be-86 is a good its similar To power pistol except it has a flash suppressant. Alliant also shows +p loads for it.
  6. I had the good results at 5.2 grs of n-320 using a Magnus cast swc 200 gr. Still have a bunch loaded just don't to shoot because they are so dirty compared to coated bullets. N-320 seemed to shoot best on the top end for me with these bullets. This load was shooting around 800 fps out of my 1911.
  7. What was the difference in oal and wt of starline vs blazer brass ?
  8. Welcome from Mississippi Adam.
  9. Qurious what kind of ruger are you shooting?
  10. I've had good results using 147 gr flat point from acme.
  11. I just read thur this thread and I'm just wondering why y'all don't like sport pistol is they a particular thing that's not good about it ? I thought it was a good powder !
  12. I'm using a 12 lb 1911 spring with a .270 dia fat rod with 132 power factor 147 gr acme flat point bullets loaded to 1.150 I like it.
  13. I been shooting indoor plate matches after using red for about four switched out to green and it was definitely better for me for indoor matches. Outside I pick ether color good when the sun is shining.
  14. Yes it from a rest with a red dot lol I wish I was that steady.
  15. For the above post these were fired with my sig p-320 RX was having trouble trying to post comments with picture.
  16. I don't shoot three gun but I have shot ar's a lot. I try to mount my scopes about the same as what the standard sights would be . If you mount the scope to low you will have put a lot of pressure on your cheek bone to see thur the scope I would go with the high rings if it was me.
  17. I have a p320 full size that I'm running a non captured.270 dia. rod with a wolf 13lb spring in and seems to be about right for my loads. I have a full size p320 rx kit coming and I was wanting some opinions on the spring for it. I'm thinking I could just use the 13lb spring in it or maybe go to a 14lb.with the .270 dia rod that I'm already have.
  18. What I have found with prima v is the smaller granules migrants to the bottom of the powder measure making the charge up until you get around a 100 approximately powder drops and it seems to stay on charge depending on how much powder you put in the powder measure. once the small granules run low the powder weight seems to drop a little that's why you are continually having to readjust the powder measure. I bought ten pounds of prima v and a got about a pound and half its a good powder but I won't buy any more it took me about five pounds to figure this out. I got some sport pistol and thats what I'll be using till something better comes along.
  19. I have two p-320's a compact and a full size which I had to send back for the update and after the update sig sends a 25% discount card for ordering stuff from the sig store. So my son has a compact and he wants to buy my full size upper which sets me up pretty good for ordering a full size kit with a co from sig. Between selling my upper and the 25% discount code from sig I'm getting me a upper with a carry optic at a pretty good price. Don't know how good the sig carry optic is but this is my frist round with co. Thanks for all the advice .
  20. I keep mine about 7.5 don't get much spilled powder either.
  21. I'm in the same boat, I want one with a optic I have a 34 and a 17 and really don't want to buy another pistol but don't know if it's better to get one milled or buy a mos model seems to me it would be a lot cheaper to get one of them milled. Has any of y'all went this route and who is the best at milling one and what does it cost?
  22. Charles what load are you shooting and what pound recoil spring are you using? Thanks
  23. I just got a .270 dia. full length hardend still rod from from jäger that uses 1911 wolf springs. Got a 12 lb and a 13 lb spring for it. Installed it and seems to be excellent haven't shot it yet. Using it in my g-34 gen three.
  24. Been using sport pistol in my 9mm and just got around to loading up some 45 acp with 200 gr swc bayou coted bullets. This was the best low end load that I come with. Used Remington brass,cci-300 primer,1.255 oal. Fired at 15yds eight rds per target with rest and open sights measured at 12'. 4.8 grs mv 765 Es 49 sd 15 . Group 1.7" 5.0 grs mv 772 -54. Group 1.63 5.2 grs. Mv 814-46-15. Group .72 5.4 grs. Mv 865-23-8. Group 1.54 5.6 grs mv 875-46-16. Group 1.55 5.8 grs mv 913-43-15. Group 1.59. This was a pretty good group just had a couple together that opened it up I think 5.9 might tighten up again if you like it hot six grs is max according to Alliant.
