  1. The 1050 is capable of 1200 9mm rounds/hour. My arm isn't. The worst thing about the 1050 is that you will end up spending another $3000 on a Mark seven auto drive, like me. I think, because of the swaging station, the 1050 is the only Dillon press worth automating. Never regretted either purchase.
  2. I had a back up but didn't think it was necessary until a squib changed my mind. Took two months to get the broken one back with a new barrel.
  3. Battle Arms tube, end plate and stock weigh 4.76 oz for rifle length. About 8 oz less than my current Magpul adjustable stock and milspec buffer tube.
  4. Found this at Battle Arms. Dimple3d extension tube and butt plate. 8 1/4 and 9 1/4 length available. On sale today for 15% off. https://www.battlearmsdevelopment.com/shop/product/sabertube-r-qd-lightweight-stock-kit-3365?category=20
  5. Sorry, I quoted the wrong reply. Same question for this aluminum one. Collapsing stock is no bueno in NY.
  6. What length of pull can you get with these on a carbine length buffer tube? My tubes measure about 10" and I like shooting with 12"LOP Can you get at least 2" more than buffer tube length with this stock?
  7. So I would interpret that to mean not legal in NY, legal in NJ.
  8. I wonder if that would be legal in New York? Barrel isn't threaded but the comp is a muzzle device.
  9. I didn't see comp option for barrels on the website.
  10. I saw the cautions against the metal lipped ones on this forum so I bought the nylon lipped ones. they are fine
  11. I bought some Black Dog mags before I saw your recommendation. They are running 100% in my gun so far. No adapter is necessary for those.
  12. Not necessarily true. Some of the highest volume producers on Earth also have the highest quality. Think about TV sets. The point is that the production process needs to be engineered to be fool proof. This is what ensures high output quality without a lot of rework.
  13. I'm looking for a butt plate that will fit mil the spec buffer tube on my AR15. I've seen some one piece aluminum ones but want to get more info before buying one. Any recommendations are welcome.
  14. It seems to me that they grew too fast. The production system that worked fine in the beginning with guns like the Steelmaster fell apart when the demand was much higher. Quality is the first thing that goes when trying to meet a production schedule unless the process has been re-engineered to meet the higher demand. Especially true when skilled labor is required.
  15. What are the noise reduction specs on these?
  16. If you are going to use the comp just leave it alone. You will just need to keep it clean.Coated ammo will help a lot there. I've had good luck with the pink coated CCI ammo. Same specs as CCI Mini Mags with, what appears to be , the same bullet shape. They have been very reliable and accurate in both my pistols and rifles.
  17. I have an Ultralight Volquartsen barrelled action, no comp, with an axiom stock and C-more slide ride. The factory will drill and tap the receiver for the sight so the slide ride bolts right on. 3# 9 oz. Great trigger, gun runs 100%. Easiest way to get to a super light .22
  18. I've had the same experience with PD vs. MG as Sarge. I use MG JHP exclusively now.
  19. I had one of the original DVC Open guns. Lots of teething problems in the beginning but STI finally got it right after getting the gun back 3 times. I sold it to a friend a couple of years ago and it's still going strong, running 100%. Seems like every gun I bought from them had to go back for one reason or another. This includes a 9mm Electra which arrived with an 8 1/2 pound trigger. As usual their customer service was excellent but I wonder how they can make money with this apparent level of rework.
  20. Apex is excellent especially with heavy bullets. I have a load that uses 165 gr Xtreme plated bullets which is very accurate with the gunsmith fitted Apex barrel.
  21. I have the FFS flat trigger on my M&P pro. Love it.
  22. This thread has been around for a while. In response to Sticks question way back when, I have been shooting my SC pistol load in my PCC. The gun is an AR15 with Taccom shrouded barrel upper and Holosun 510C sight. Very light, accurate load. Runs 100%. 115 gr MG JHP, 3.8 N320, 1.135.
