  1. Anyone had any problems removing the barrel nut? If been trying for about 4 hours to no avail. The guide rod has been removed and I just need to get the barrel nut off so I can switch out barrels. I've tried rubberized fishing gloves, I've tried putting it in the freezer, I've tried heating it, even tried pliers over a shop rag... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. Good advice. That will be my excuse for the boyfriend as to why I need to go to the range more [emoji23] Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. I thought about doing this but then I'll have the problem of not being able to reach the mag release. I'm thinking of trying those medical self adhering bandages Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Has anyone had problems with how far out the mag release extends? I'm noticing that it's digging pretty hard into my palm. Specifically the meaty part of my palm by my thumb. Wearing a glove helps, but I'd like to avoid this since it feels really awkward. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. Good deal! It'll be my first big match so I'm a nervous wreck. Been trying to dry fire as much as possible and work on my draw. Not used to having to flip the safety off first so it's cutting into my time. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. I'll try to drop by and say hello! Looks like we have quite a few in our squad lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. Yes I am! I'm in squad 3 Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. It's a good fit. Comes out with out any harsh tugging but also stays in place pretty well. Didn't get a chance to run around with it, but I think it works Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. Welp, my blade tech came in and at first I was worried that it wouldn't work, but after loosening the adjustment screws a tad it fits snugly. I'll have to decide if I like using this though. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah it was the Freedom Cup. Fun match, but I didn't shoot all that well if memory serves. LOL yeah i'll be there Sunday. Need to classify for Cowtown in May. Already have my scheduled filled for matches this year. CK Arms anniversary match next month, Space City Challenege in March, Cowtown in May, Gator in November and I'm sure I'm missing others between LOL. I'm hoping to get myself into a decent classification by year end. I should probably be dry firing and practicing more than I am though... Just picked up some of Ben Stoeger's dry fire targets and some dummy rounds.
  11. I honestly don't recall, but probably not LOL.
  12. Me too! If you were there around Halloween I was the one dressed up as Supergirl [emoji23] Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. Hmm guess I'll find out tomorrow when it gets here. This is the one I ordered. I didn't figure the one from CZC would fit.. I hope this one fits or I'm in trouble for my match Sunday LOL
  14. Blade tech makes a tac sport holster that's more traditional than the magnetic speed race holsters from DAA or ghost. I have one of those as well as an Ernie hill speed holster
  15. If anyone is still looking there are two 9mm and 3 40s on GunBroker. Just about retail though. I got lucky and happened across a 9mm for $1750 shipped and the vendor had 8. Took 3 days to get to me and I just picked her up yesterday. Hitting the range Friday and Saturday before my first classifier on Sunday.
  16. Hi everyone! My name is Kim and I'm a new shooter with the CK Arms shooting team Houston division. I've only been shooting USPSA for about 6 months but it's quickly becoming a sport I can't get enough of. I started out in production and while my CZ 75 SP01 is going in for repairs and my CK Arms open gun is being built I'll be shooting limited with a CZ 75 tac sport orange. I can tell this forum is going to teach me tons.
