It’s a very nice looking magwell. It seems like a fair amount of modifications to dedicate that one magwell to that gun only. Let me know how well it works.

Very interesting. I have never heard of this happening. It makes you wonder why that person locked his holster after making ready.

What are the spec’s your using? What’s the max o.a.l. On the brass when you trim them down?

I second CheekyChung when using my race holster and strongly agree with rule #3.

I just recently purchased a Ruger SR40 from a friend that bought it new 2.5 yrs ago. He had someone do a trigger job to the gun, but unfortunately the gun was tobhard for him and his daughter to rack the slide and they never shot it after the trigger job so I bought it. I took it out to go shoot my plate rack yesterday and on the last rd it blows the magazine out every time. I’m not sure what is causing this for I haven’t had the chance to tear it down. I’m hoping to get some help from you guys and hoping to not have to send it back to Ruger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WarrenZ where did you get that magwell? Wow! What base pads work with it?

Lube the the sprocket to the bolt. I have had the aluminum from the sprocket start to gald to the bolt head because I didn’t keep it lubed with grease.

I’m hoping someone might have some old advertising info on a gun that Dave Dawson offered for a short run 8+ yrs ago. I talked with Dawson Precsion and they said that they don’t keep any advertising info that far back. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have been carrying a Para Black Opps single stack in 45 with a galco mid summer comfort holster for 5 yrs and have had no problems at all. I say carry what’s comfortable and what you can shoot accurately.

I still have hope and until Randy Lee officially kills it.

I would make sure that the trigger is set where you want, add a magwell and a decent rig and have all the you can.

WOW FXDC how did you get the trigger pull down so low, and who did the slide cutting? Both guns look amazing.

I know on the 1.0 M&P’s with the correct Apex flat trigger kit you could get a sub 2 lbs. trigger that breaks decent. I know of a few people that have there carry gun set that way.

That’s a personal decision that you have to make. My competition guns are set around 2 lbs. and my carry gun the trigger is set to 2 3/4 lbs.. I try to keep everything similar, but that’s how I practice.

I am looking for help on coming up with a good holster for limited the Blade tech that i have for my 9mm 5.25 fits great but the 40 is a little snugger then i prefer and is starting to rub the finish off of the slide. Any advice or thoughts would be great.
