I went last Saturday to shoot at a 3-gun range and identified some areas I need to work on. My interest in 3-gun and IDPA just started. I'm a total newbie and after I work on getting some good habits formed and practice at the range more I would like to start going to competitions. Sarge you crack me up. I'm a private person and a woman so I'll take your dramatic comment as a compliment. I am here for sport shooting as that's what I was doing when I was told about this forum. Who's talking politics on here? Ain't me. Go easy pal. Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm in a major city. I'll gladly discuss shooting ranges near me via direct message but because this forum can be accessed publicly I'm not comfortable revealing my location. I travel between Dallas, Houston & San Antonio regularly so I'm interested in ranges, gun shows, and resources in those areas.

I started conceal carrying a Remington .380(perfect for my small hands) in November of this year. I enjoy researching, shooting, and taking classes. I carry for self defense and because we're all soft targets at this point in time. I'm open to learning anything and everything about guns, self defense, and ammo. I'm always on the look out for good places to shoot and love holding/shooting interesting firearms!
