Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Glad someone mentioned trimming. Had to dremmel a few rubbing part of holster to fit CZ S2 properly. Question for CZ Shadow 2 users: Are you using the shim that comes with 578 holster ?
  2. Finally received Safariland 578 series holster. It does fit Glock34 without spacer and CZ Shadow 2 with spacer. There is an up & down play with CZ S2 when trigger is locked in. It seems to come from spacer that is not well adapted for CZ S2. The adjustment screw can eliviate the play but it's then hard to remove CZ S2 from holster. The up & down play does not seem to be a big issue since CZ S2 trigger is well locked-in the 578 holster. This is where I purchased 578 hoster. Only website I found that give you a choice of different belt attachments! https://holsterops.com/collections/concealment/products/safariland-578-gls-pro-fit Thank you all for advice !
  3. Good to know. Ordered the long-standard (not large). Will post my initial impression once I receive. I appreciate everyone's input !
  4. Great news ! I look forward to purchasing the 578 - for 3 Gun as well. It should fit my Glock 34 and CZ Shadow 2 . FYI... Safariland told me it would not fit, glad to hear the opposite from actual users. Much appreciated !
  5. Hi All- Has anyone tested the Safariland 578 series holster with CZ Shadow 2 ? Thank you AJ
  6. Thank you ALL for these information. I am happy to find 3-Gun community VERY helpful. @Makdaddy : Thx for obcats information, was starting to think I may have to move to PA. Will contact obcats asap ! It's roughly 1 hour drive, a little shorter drive than going to PA. Will be going to PA as well @Jack : During my research I found Easton PA range recently joined 3-Gun organization. Do you know other PA places I can look into ? @Huafist & Nathanb : Found several 3-Gun intro classez online but far away and thought I may find something around where I live, wishfull thinking 3-Gun can be a little intimidating looking in from the outside. When I contacted Eaton PA range recently, I was told "3-Gun matches are for experienced 3-gun shooters". What I had heard up to now was 3-gun matches are for anyone who owns the proper equipment and just wanted to have fun, learn and enjoy shooting ! I guess someone at Easton did not get the memo ... I will follow your advice and just jump in !!!! Looking forward to meeting you all at one point or another at the shooting range ? AJ
  7. Hi All - Is there any 3-Gun intro class available in Northern NJ ? Thx... AJ
