  1. Does anyone have any experience with the Eemann Tech Ultimate Trigger (DA/SA) for the CZ? It's not the flat trigger. It looks more like an 85 trigger but has an overtravel screw and a pretravel screw both. If it's good then it'd be adjustable forward and back both and might be perfect for those of us with hands that aren't giant but aren't small hands. Here's the link to it. https://dealer.eemann-tech.com/en/et-cz-75/6079-eemann-tech-ultimate-trigger-for-cz-shadow-2000000060798.html
  2. Thanks y'all. I doubt I'll do much more than I had in mind and/or similar to what you guys have done.
  3. I forgot to mention I'll just be running the S2 Orange in Production. That was good info rowdyb.
  4. I got lucky and found an S2 Orange for a really good deal. I should have it in hand next week. I'm in no rush to do anything to it since I haven't shot it yet but I'm pretty positive I'll make a few small changes. I'm definitely getting LOK thin grips. They suit me better than anything else I've seen. Next I'm probably getting some stuff from CGW. An extended firing pin & firing pin spring, the music wire 11.5# hammer spring, reduced power trigger return spring, and a floating trigger pin. There's a few other small things I may eventually consider like a reach reduction, Dawson front sight, etc... Besides this short list is there anything else you guys would add?
  5. Here's mine from March of 2009. The ER had to pull the shrapnel fom my hand. I started a post on it in 2009.
  6. His name is on the list but it's looking like the reigning Production champ won't be there this year. His daughter's high school graduation is during the match.
  7. That's just SICK! His splits are always amazing.
  8. Got mine in the mail Saturday for the LPR Nationals but going to the Production Nationals might be tough for me to do since my wedding anniversary is on the 24th (the last day of the match). Family 1st!
  9. I agree we were lucky. I was squadded with Nils at the Nationals but he is also a friend so I have seen him shoot at Rio a gazillion times. We had a great squad with a few AZ guys and a bunch of our non-AZ shooting buddies like Outzen, Higdon and Ohlmann. Nils is always a nice guy and a real pleasure to shoot with. He had a squad of really good shooters to push him but not pressure him.
  10. I'm not building anything yet Tony. I'll probably sit on the frame a bit. Thanks for all the input everyone. This is the info I was hoping to find and consolidate.
  11. Thanks! Anyone also have any .40 mag info?
  12. Thanks Randy. What spring/follower/basepad setup are you using?
  13. I have been able to find a few threads on Caspian Hi-Cap magazines but nothing that is extremely detailed and consolidated. I have several questions about the Hi-Cap mags. My questions are primarily focused on .40/10mm mags for Limited/L10 and for .38SuperComp mags for Open. Which mags work in the Caspian frame? I have seen Caspian mags, EAA mags, and S_I mags mentioned also. What capacity can be reached with any of the mags? Just like most people, I am interested in the most capacity I can get with the most reliability. Which basepads give the most capacity and in either caliber and stay within the legal length limits for USPSA? Which springs and followers work to give reliability and the highest capacity? Can STI or SV mags work reliably in the Caspian frame and what is required to make them fit? Is it solely frame thinning or do the mags also need to be altered? I know Lim does it to some guns he builds. He is away so he can't answer questions right now. And finally, I saw a for sale ad for a Caspian Hi-Cap Limited gun from Bob Vogel that listed the gun as having a 21 round mag with it. I believe Rich at Canyon Creek built the gun but I'm not sure on who did the mag.

    New iMac i5

Oh yeah! I am loving the iMac. I did check out some tutorials but i haven't used them yet.
  15. I believe it's a 930 Field model. The ported barrel can be an issue, get a 28" and have it shortened beyond the ports and then recut for choke tubes. Thank you. This is added to my wish list. Jim I have a 930 SPX that you can shoot or borrow anytime. Just let me know.
  16. I can't say for sure. There are at least 3 or 4 on there and only one of them states it is ported. Take a look, I don't want to steer anyone wrong.
  17. Benny will be the best to work on the 930 but there are some 24" 930 barrels for sale on gunbroker.com.
  18. i was also squadded with Nils and he was insanely fast. He was even faster than he normally is at our weekend matches at Rio. He's a good kid and he deserves it. He may also be the youngest National Champ ever at 20 years old. I'm glad he is a friend of mine and was very glad to see him win.

    Birthdays!

Happy Birthday to Larry Cohen, doc540, and happy birthday to my good buddies BD Williamson and Oggieb. Also a belated Happy Birthday to Rick "the Animal" Korzep!
  20. You will most likely be able to ship it to Accuracy Speaks at Rio Salado. It's what is done pretty much every year.
  21. Tritopped comp........ .....I know the story. Looks awesome August. Gans does such great work.
  22. 8-10 above the minimum PF of 125 is comfortable and helps to take down steel.
  23. To me it could go either way but let's bring it on and play it out. Kiffin is a disease and we are in recovery. GO VOLS!!!!!
