  1. I’m using CZ Customs extended base pads without a problem.

You need to use  the one for the 16rd magazines to fit the mag gauge.

If you use the 17rd extended base pads for the mecgars, you will need to sand the bottom of the base pads  and file the back of the feed lips on the mags to make it fit the mag gauge.

I get 22-23rds reloadable with the 17rd mecgar extended base pads with czcustoms guts and 21-22rds reloadble on the 16rd magazine extended  base pads

  2. This^^^

If you want your brass shiny, in and out, use pins.

Just be mindful of the stuck pin in the primer hole.

Either way, with or without pins, the exterior of the brass will come out shiny.

  3. The problem I encountered at first was feeding issues, mag related.

After sorting the feeding issue, it would intermittently not go to full battery.Found out it was my grip, my thumb was riding the slide, slowing it down. Blaming my CZ’s for that.

Plus I run the gun wet and clean it before every match

  4. Just started shooting RFPI. Mostly shooting with optics in Steel challenge.

I am using an STI 1911 .22lr conversion kit(Advantage Arms)  on a 5in. Prodigy frame with an old Infinity polymer grip, Nelson double stack magazines.

So far it has been reliable for me, 1k rounds.

Hammerli X-Esse IPSC. RFPI/RFPO. Never had problem ever since I got it. Around 3k-4k rounds.

Too many fasteners.  Upgrade your existing Boss hanger by adding a Baller Boss attachment.  Same overall functionality as the Henning for a fraction of the price and rock solid construction.

Fasteners can be taken cared of with loctite once you have dialed it in. With the ball system, sometimes you need a third hand to adjust it, especially if you have a heavy pistol.

Hi Mark, I'm also considering to buy the T1000 hangar to fit my DAA Flex holster onto it.

Overall the feedback is more positive than negative, but this is some of the negatives I've read, heard and seen on the T1000: longer picatiny brackets are uncomfortable and press into the hip/leg (even with the pads), the picatiny bracket cracks/breaks off when the gliding support peace is tilted too far out,

The cracking of the picatinny bracket, never thought of that.

If you prefer your holster right at 3 o’clock, it’s probably not worth the change to the T1000. However, if you prefer to have your holster forward of the hip bone, the T1000 shines.

This is I think the one that best answers my doubt. I am more of a 3'o clock holster position, maybe 2'o clock.

The Boss Hanger have been great for me except for the pain in the hip feeling. I might just as well stay with the Boss and get the Baller.

  6. I’ve been thinking of buying a Henning T1000 holster hanger to replace my Boss hanger for my CO/LO rig. But, seeing a few members selling theirs, now I am having second thoughts?

Looks to have a good design. Adjustability in all axes, different mounts available for most holster mounting pattern and modularity.

So what is/are the reason/s to not buy the T1000 besides the price?

  7. Thank you, rishii.

It came from a used Infinity open gun I bought. Thinking it was from SVI because it was an Infinity, everything except for the big SH mag release.

If it was that long since you‘ve seen one. Most likely the pistol is about that age as well.
Probably the reason why the barrel is splitting factory 38S cases when fired.
