  1. The Hornady die does not work reliably with most plated bullets. It would work like 90% with SNS coated bullets with some tweaking. It has worked fine with FMJ for me. I did try a Mr Bulletfeeder die with the Hornady bullet collator but was not able to make that combo work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Sounds good...I’ll check out the eclipse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have had a Hiperfire 24c fail twice during matches in 10-12k rounds in an MPX. Right now I’m back to the stock trigger until I decide which direction to go next. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Shot this classifier today in PCC. String 1: 4.70s String 2: 1.97s String 3: 2.93s Total time: 9.60s 22 Alphas, 2 Charlies. 116 points. Hit factor: 12.0833 (100%). This is the classifier that will bump me to GM. I’ve been hovering around 92-94% for several months so I’m happy to finally push over the line. Shot the first two strings about perfectly. Kinda laid up the third string since I knew all I had to do was not screw up and it would be good enough to bump me up. It helped that I could see the hits moving to the third box, so I felt safe bunting the last string. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Anyone know of similar app that works on Windows or Mac? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I have run an HK94 clone in uspsa before. ETS has 40 round mp5 mags but I’ve got a few original HK 40 rounders that I use. The gun is reliable and worked fine, however the ergonomics aren’t great for mandatory reloads. All in all, it’s a fun gun to run once in a while. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I’m shooting the top one from the Stoeger pro shop. Previously I’d been running MPXs but got tired of dealing with mpx issues. I messaged the pro shop on a Sunday to check inventory...they had one, so I grabbed it. Had it on the range by Thursday. It has been running great since I got it in early September. It is heavy, especially compared to the MPXs I ran before (ILWT 4.5” barrels with taccom extensions and idler carbon fibre handguards) but I don’t care about that because it just runs. When I get another one I’ll consider one with the lightweight barrel but for now I’m 100% impressed with the JP I’m running. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I had the same problem early this year. I spoke with hiperfire and they immediately sent me a disconnector and disconnector spring. That resolved it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Check your disconnector and disconnector spring for damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. My club has the MDs shoot for free. MDs also design and build the stages...generally 4-5 field courses plus a classifier. No setup or tear down crew. We have the luxury of being able to leave stages set up more or less permanently so we generally get at least two matches out of each setup by changing start position, target presentations, etc. The work is further lessened by being able to leave unused props, steel, stands, etc in the bay. We are running two matches monthly (both Saturday and Sunday on match weekends) year round, except when majors block the schedule. We also run a weekly Tuesday night steel with similar setup practices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Just telling you what the TF instructions say. YMMV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Unless you are using Taylor Freelance extensions. Any longer than 1.125” will jam in the extension. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. 1.120” works in my gmr-15 with TF base pads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I believe I had a set of those in 6” diameter. I sold them when I last moved but as I recall they did fine with 9mm minor. Just don’t let someone shoot them with rifle or magnum calibers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I used to shoot with a guy who ran an sti edge in .45 like a boss. I never noticed the 2 or so rounds he was short in the mag being a reason he got beat. If you like 45 and have a double stack to run it I don’t believe it would hold you back. Archer vs arrow and all that... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. When you are scoring on the pad and click the “additional procedurals” button. If I remember correctly, it says something like “confirm with RM before using”...

  19. I’m using a CMMG complete upper on a polymer lower (less weight). Works great with the cmmg magazines and also with black dog drum mags (not for steel challenge but other fun). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. You mean the plastic one from bladetech? I’m sure I have one I could send you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. After shooting the MPX for a couple years, I finally broke down / gave in and picked up a GMR-15 3 weeks before Nationals. In the 5000 rounds since I got it, the JP is 100% reliable. I know my load isn’t quite dialed in yet, but I see the JP having the potential to feel almost as soft as the Sig and just as fast, if not faster. Good write up...my experience aligns very closely with what you’ve learned. You just learned it much more quickly than me. And cost you a lot less ammo and wrecked matches. 22. I fought plantar fasciitis for years...make that decades. I had cortisone shots, custom shoe insoles, did stretching exercises, etc. I finally gave up a couple years ago and had surgery on one foot in June and the other foot in October. That has finally solved it. Now I’m able to be on my feet all day without pain. Why did I wait so long? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yes. The bays have a shade structure, a table and usually 4-6 chairs or a bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I live in StG and have used Uber primarily to get to the airport (before it was shut down for repairs). Never had a problem. They seem to hang mostly around downtown and towards Ivins. If it rains, it will knock down the dust, so that’d be nice. So long is it doesn’t downpour...that would be bad as several of the bays drain poorly.
