  1. Ordered from both RMR and blue bullets on 7/10. Received the RMR order on 8/14 but nothing from blue bullets yet.
  2. I just built up a PSA px9 lower and matched it up to a Davidson defender PCC upper and the brekke barrel/comp with smoke handguard. Run perfect in practice this morning. I also ran the lower with an iron city upper and it ran fine with that also. Hope the helps.
  3. Here's the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08127CGGM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also picked up these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084TZ4KM2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I sort of half-assed twist tied the camera so that its looking right down into the case before it goes up into the bullet dropper. I used another twistie thing to "secure" the endoscope cable to the case feeder support. The cable is semi-rigid...enough that it seems to stay in place with no shaking...loaded about 500 rounds with it this way and I'm happy with the view on the screen. Ultimately I'll fab up something more permanent but for now this works. Oh yeah, the monitor itself is set on a stack of die boxes behind the press. As I type this I realize it is ghetto AF, but I just wanted to see if it worked before I spent any effort making it look good. No, I'm not taking any pictures of the setup as it stands today...lol.
  4. Just this week I grabbed a $50 endoscope on amazon to monitor powder drops. This is after >100k rounds loaded in the last 5 years. Should have done this much earlier.

    That’s sporty...nice!
  6. No. You’d only paste and reset on Friday if you were shooting with staff.
  7. After you put the ROs on the squad, go into edit squads and remove the reserved slots. I’m not aware of A way to force a shooter or RO to a specific reserved slot.
  8. That Sig is one of the ones I ended up with. I put 4-500 dollars worth of parts and work into it to make it for for me.
  9. I was looking for a couple of 1911 .40s a few years back. I ended up with a Sig Stainless Match Elite (new) and an STI Sentry (used but excellent condition). I’ve not looked in a few years but I’d be surprised if any major manufacturer is making any .40s now. When I was looking, Matt Cheely was making some .custom 40s but I’m not sure he still is.
  10. SRO hands down. I’ve got both milled to Shadow 2s and much prefer the SRO. I find the sro easier to pick up in the bright desert sun.
  11. I agree with Mark on the Amazon fires. We use iPad minis in the southern Utah desert heat and during the warmer months we have to take care to cool them whenever possible or they will overheat by the third stage.
  12. Im new to revo in 2020 also, so at the risk of the blind leading the blind I’d suggest looking into 38 short colt. That is basically a rimmed 9mm case. I find I’m able to get these loaded into the gun quicker and easier than 38 specials. The whole reason I got a 627 instead of a 929 what the versatility of shooting 38 special, 357 mag or 38 short colt.
  13. I too have the green Crimson Trace on my PCCs. I can’t remember the last time I actually used it. I did have a stage a month ago at the Montana sectional where I considered using it for a hard left lean. I ended up switching shoulders between positions to make the shots. Two alpha. So no, I don’t think the laser is necessary.
  14. I recently faced this choice. After shooting both 929 and 627, I decide to go with the 627 based on my experience shooting the 929 in the Mesquite Mayhem Revolver Classic. I struggled with the 929 getting the spinner over while guys with 627s shooting magnums seemed to have no issue. It came down to versatility for me...38 short colt for uspsa and icore, 38 special for steel challenge and an occasional 357 mag for stubborn targets like that spinner.
  15. Did you look in PractiScore? I found a Collins county uspsa match this weekend. Appears to be reasonably close to Dfw. I’m sure someone from the area will be along...
  16. Before going to a major match I would check the mags to make sure they fit a mag gage. I’ve seen too many x five shooters bumped to open because of mag length.
  17. What sort of buffer system are you running in that 9mm steel challenge gun?
  18. I’ve got a .22 set up very close to my match PCCs. I run it in steel challenge RFRO. It’s good that the controls, optic and general feel of the gun is similar across them but the recoil impulse and dot movement is just different. I don’t think there’s any harm in running similar setups across 22 and 9mm PCCs but for me I’ll still train with the PCC predominantly.
  19. Multiple PCCs. I have switched modules before and it does indeed affect the zero significantly. I’ve also used two cmores on adm quick release mounts and didn’t have an issue with that.
  20. I shoot both uspsa and steel challenge with a cmore railway. 2 MOA for uspsa and 8 MOA for steel. I like the smaller dot for a bit more precision in aiming for uspsa.
  21. I’ve run cmores on my open guns and now run them on the PCCs. I guess I’m too old/stubborn/stupid to try something new, but the cmores just work for me. I’ve played with the holosun a few times and maybe I just didn’t give it enough time but I didn’t care for the circle or the very small dot. I literally changed the dot module today on my primary gun...I like the flexibility to do that.
  22. Life happens. People get new jobs, move, married, kids or whatever and time/money available to play changes. I played golf for 30 years at a low single digit handicap level. For me it got to a point where I had too high expectations for my performance which lead to frustration when I didn’t perform. The effort, in terms of time and money, to improve became no longer worth it. Now I’ve now gotten to the point where I play golf maybe twice a year and really enjoy it. I still break 80 but with no self induced pressure it’s a totally different experience. On the other hand, now I shoot like 15 matches a month. I’m still learning so the challenge is still there. I’m classified in 7 of 8 (no revo but I just got a 627...) divisions and have at times worked hard on several of them. I recently found steel challenge and set a goal to classify in all 13 SC divisions in 2020 (three to go). Point being...I’ve found there are always fresh opportunities to learn in USPSA and SC which has been part of keeping me engaged in the sport for the last 10 years. Will I stop shooting at some point? Hard to say, but I never thought I’d all but quit golf either. Taking life as it comes.
  23. I had the same feeling that the mpx was too front heavy. My solution was to replace the stock barrel with a 4.5” barrel with aluminium shroud to get it to 16”. Then I replaced the heavy stock handguard with an isler carbon finer handguard. Took a ton of weight off and swings way better in this setup.
  24. More load development and testing needed, but what I’ve seen so far is the recoil and dot movement is near zero.
