Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm just a big ol bitch in my old age I guess. It has some Snappy recoil, and I'm used to shooting my 870. It's quite a bit heavier. I didn't say I dislike it at all, it's a hell of a gun, I just need to get used to the snappy recoil. Length of pull could be a little longer, but it's the same length as my 870 and I'm used to it.
  2. I have Gorilla arms. I could actually go about an inch longer. LOL I just wish they didn't have that crazy shape recoil pad. You can't find a TSA pad anymore. I wrote Benelli USA Today to see if there were other options, as the factory recoil pad kind of sucks.
  3. You're right, I also think it restricts the forearm from moving better. The forearm shouldn't touch the barrel, but it will if I pick it up by the barrel and forearm. Just a little movement there. More than with the factory nut. Doesn't impact performance though. I read similar complaints about Benelli forearms on here. I have the same problem, but also the same performance for just over half the price.....
  4. Talked to Tom, he said the forearm does not align on the nut, but on the tube. I think it also rides/centers on the barrel loop that fits over the mag tube. Nut size would have little to no impact. Just FYI
  5. Going through the same thing....... I don't think anyone makes one specifically for the franchi. Drives me crazy. LOL
  6. I have the Moa not, and my forend moves a little. I think that is because all of the extension nuts are made for Stoeger, and the franchi factory nut is just a tad larger on the shoulder. When I measured it, the factory nut was about .026" larger than the Moa nut.

  8. I don't have a clamp, I bought one of his braces. It's similar to a cramp but it doesn't actually make contact with a barrel, it just prevents access movement. I'm not sure if I said that in the way that makes sense. It will limit the movement of the tube to help prevent it from breaking. Same high quality as all of his other products.
  9. I've got a few hundred rounds through the gun. So far it is cycle everything I have put through it. Bought a few cases of 2-3/4 dram Remington gun club and they shoot fine.
  10. Drove down to MOA Precision picked up the gun about a month ago. He sent me one of the prototypes safeties in the mail. Huge upgrade over the stock safety.
  11. Hmmmmmm.......... Look what I found in the mail yesterday
