Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I wanted to update this with more info: 1 dot = 40 S&W only 2 dot = 9mm and 40 3 dot = 9mm only
  2. The number of dots on the extractor tells you which caliber it is for. There is one that is 9mm only, one that is 40 only and one that supports both 9mm and 40. I think the 1 dot is 9mm, 2 dot is 40 and 3 dot both calibers. I found this info out when trying to order a replacement extractor.
  3. HI Guys, I just got a new to me Limited Custom Xtreme in .40 for use in IPSC Standard/USPSA Limited and I am looking for a legal thumb rest. I have seen the IPSC Alex one and I'd love to have that one but I am not sure if it's IPSC legal as it seems a little large. Does anybody have any suggestions? Cheers!
  4. The extractor was dirty. I removed it on suggestion of a friend and cleaned it and now it's back to normal. I tested it yesterday and a club match and now the brass is shooting 3-4 feet away as per norm and extracting, no FTF either. I am good. Thanks for the suggestion to check the extractor.
  5. Hey guys, I am consistently getting failure to feed now with my .40 orange. Nothing has changed except I put in the OEM spring from a 13lbs spring. I even put the 13lbs sping back in and it is still happening. Basically the bullet gets stuck on the feed ramp and the slide stays open, I can push down on the bullet and it will go into the barrel and the slide will close but once it happens, it will happen again and again. I don't think it is mag specific as it's random when it happens but my last 3 IPSC matches have been ruined with a low score due to me always having this issue. Not sure what can be done to fix this. The gun ran pretty much fine until this started happening and the ammo is the same and even if I use factory ammo does it happen. I have done some testing and sometimes if I slam the mag in, it happens so like the mag is too far in? Can that happen? Other time I don't slam the mag in and it doesn't happen. Any suggestions? Thanks
  6. I have a 11 LBS and shoot major at around 174 PF with no buffer. No issues that I can see.
  7. All back together and working like a charm. I totally missed all those pieces sitting on the desk. Thanks again!
  8. Wow oh wow. I never knew there was spacers. I found them sitting on the desk. Gonna try installing them and putting it back together. Noob mistake but atleast you were able to help me out. 1000 Thank you's!
  9. Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by spacers and flat curved flat retainer?
  10. I took it apart like 5 times and put it back together and still has the same issue. I even took off the extension and used the original nut and still. I am going crazy as it moves and I have no idea what could be causing it. The barrel is seated properly. I guess I wiill try again tomorrow. I spent 3 hours tonight trying to see what would be causing it but I have no idea.
  11. Hey guys. I cleaned my M3k today and now my forend is loose. Is this common? Extension tube nut is as tight as possible but it moves forward and back about a cm which is significant and it didn't before I cleaned it. Any ideas?
  12. Is that for the 9mm or the 40 .. The extra springs?
  13. I think it's a mag not being seated properly issue. When it's loaded up with bullets, you gotta make sure it's seated properly. I tested it the last few nights and it appears to be the issue. I will find out for sure Saturday to see if I have any more failure to feed issues. Thanks!
  14. I took out the firing pin to cycle the bullets manually and did more testing and it might be I am not putting the mag in properly if thats possible. One second no rounds load properly then all of a sudden everything works with whatever ammo I choose. If it doesn't load properly and I push the mag in and re-cycle the slide, it works fine.
