  1. Thanks Eric, i'll keep it a little longer then.
  2. Can you tell any difference when shooting a A400 with a wood stock versus a plastic stock. Just the field guns. Is the KO really worth it. I don't have a problem with recoil, didn't know if it's worth the extra money. I shoot a Extrema now, and it's time to trade it in.
  3. I would like to get a 26" barrel for hunting. Anyone know if they will make longer barrels.
  4. Dev-con, aluminum epoxy. I built up my magwell with it, and it works great. Just ruff up the area where you want it, and it's permanent.
  5. I like R&R products. I use his magwell and mags, never had a problem. Just put on his mid-brake, and I don't know if it does that much but it looks cool. Left side charge handle is nice, the bolt is harder than hell. So be careful drilling and tapping it.
  6. I run a 10 pound spring, and a Sprinco limited guide rod in my 9 major. Some people just wont listen when you tell them it's to light of a spring in there gun. They heard some top shooter was running it, so that's what they are going to run.
  7. Hello Shooters, I have finally put together the information for the Iowa Fall Classic, I would have hoped to have this done a little sooner but I guess better late than never. The West Liberty Practical Shooters would like to invite you to the inaugural Iowa Fall Classic to be held at West Liberty Gun Club. The match will be held September 28th thru 30th. Competitors will shoot the match in a one day format and may choose either Friday the 28th, or Saturday the 29th. We will have an awards presentation in the morning, Sunday the 30th with a man vs man steel shoot off to be held after the conclusion of the awards. Competitors may choose to shoot a different division on each day. This will be a level 1 USPSA event. The match itself will consist of 10 stages, plus chronograph, with a round count of 250 to 300 rounds. In the interest of time and getting all shooters through in a timely fashion this will be a lost brass match. It will be a trophy match this year due to a late start in planning a prize table. Due to the lack of prize table we have held the entry fee low and will only be charging $50 per entry. If you choose to shoot both days the entry will be $50 for each day. There will be a minimum of 25 shooters per day and a maximum of 100 shooters per day. In the interest of planning please RSVP and/or Pre-register by Friday September, 21st. The entry forms is attached in a a computer fill-able format and in fill in the blank format for your convenience. Lunch will be served by our wonderful catering staff for a nominal $5. Lunch will include a sandwich/main dish, a side dish, desert, and water/drink. Lodging for the match will be challenging due to U of I Homecoming falling on the same weekend. I would suggest getting lodging lined up as soon as possible if you will require a place to stay. Here is a link to Iowa City area Hotels. For further information or any questions please contact me via email, or I can be reached most evenings at 319-400-2277. Email me and I'll send you a match app. Greg.kindl@gmail.com or go to westlibertygunclub.com See you all at the range, Greg Kindl West Liberty Practical Shooters
  8. Don't be telling people, it's a secret.
  9. ...maybe BlueDot no one has tried it in 9 major... If you're thinking that, you're late to the party! What is blue dot like? I have two pounds that I thought about trying.
  10. I have shot 8.4grs HS-6, 124 cmj and have loaded out to 1.180 o.a.l, with no problems. I settled at 1.165. Trubor barrel with brazos sx thundercomp.
  11. I have had no problems running small pistol primers. I run all 9mm mixed range brass, and have ran it up to 184pf and all it did was flaten the primer. Every gun is different, try and see what works best for you.
