Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've been wondering the same thing. I'm really liking the idea. I tried a poly 80 AR lower and had decent results, would have been better off f I had a drill press tho.
  2. Any one have any issues where the follower is sticking half way they the mag? Had this issue 5 times at a match this past weekend(cost me a good 10 seconds over the whole day) the mags are fairly new have had them a cpl months but haven't really used them. I loaded them Friday night and let them sit till match time Sunday morn. Very first stage after two rounds fired the follower seemed to just be stuck in the bottom half of the mag. Once I dropped the mag and put in another to continue the stage about half the rounds came out the top of the mag. One of my buddies who uses the ets mags in pcc said to sand them and should be fine but it seems on one anyway that both the spring and follower are catching the inside of the mag.
  3. double post. My bad.
  4. Let us know the outcome. I'm thinking about trying a stronger mag spring in addition to some sanding Will do. I should be working on them later today. I won't be able to get to the range till this weekend but i will function test them as much as I can before then.
  5. What about for a gen 3 G35 set up for limited running factory ammo. Can't I run a 15lb on that set up?
  6. Just a heads up. I ran two ets mag at a match this weekend and both for my Glock 35 failed. I did load them both only to 15 rounds just to try them and both would hang up after only 3 or 4 rounds. When I got to looking it looked like the springs were catching the inside of the mag and the follower was kinda sticking. Gonna hit them with a little sandpaper and see if that will smooth it out. Cost me a good 10 seconds over the whole day. Ugh.
  7. Two guys that I know of at my club shoot G21's and do really good with them. But they have been shooting with them over 20 years each and are well used to the pistols and the loads they make. One of them is a M class shooter and he got it using the same Glock. He's running a vanek trigger, Arredondo pads and not sure what else but with the load he uses it shoots softer than my 35.
  8. I'd say either Dawson or TTi sights. I have both and they both have their pluses and minuses. I had Dawson's on my 35 and TTI on my 22. I swapped them and like the Dawson's more on the 22. On my 35 the TTIs are poa/poi up to about 40 yards. Oh plus Dawson has their perfect impact guarantee. If your sights don't line up as far as poa/poi call them and they will fix it and send a new sight. My 19 went thru 4 before I could get perfect poa poi.
  9. Got mine directly from ets website. Etsgroup.us
  10. I run a couple of these with Arredondo pads. Can only get 20 in there and that's pushing it. With out the pads I still haven't gotten to the advertised 16 rounds.
  11. I've been running a Zev ext mag release that's aluminum for about a year now, so far no probs. really helps me with the reloads when shooting uspsa limited.
